If I'm making old fashions or Manhattans Wild Turkey 101 is just fine. The Costco brand Bourbon (Kirkland) is actually pretty decent and great for cocktails.

My brother bought a bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue a few years ago before a party. He poured drinks for everyone at the gathering and most of them took a sip and said fuck that. With permission I walked around and collected all of the unwanted booze and drank that expensive shit down.
