God damn Angus. That shit is brutal. I won't even drink low shelf brand liquor (Smirnoff, Cuervo, Bicardi, etc.)

My buddy's dad makes shine, he'll give me a jug for free whenever he's in town but he lives in Tally so it's not very often.

My uncle had a guy in North Carolina. We had all the classic flavors you know, Apple and Cinnamon, Peach, Cherry. We also had some straight corn that will make you think your drinking rubbing alcohol.

Can't get it no more though. Guy shot and killed his girlfriend, in the middle of the street, in their trailer park from what my uncle told me. Lol and he's not one to tell tall tales.

My dad's cousin was an emotional drunk and I guess had been drinking shine and my dad was driving and his cousin pulled out a revolver and shot himself in the head.

Just for comparison's sake... I got a job at a public library when I was 16. Was paid $1.50 over minimum wage (whatever that was)at the time to put books on shelves. After my first paycheck, I've never not had money. (albeit, easy to save money as a 16 yr old when you don't pay rent)
 
Making shine runs in my family, Dad and his dad both dropped out of school around the age of 14 to make it. They were born and raised in Alabama, I guess it's normal.
