There is a local guy who ran the 1500m in Atlanta who cut off two toes in a lawnmower accident a year after the olympics. He ran 3:33 for 1500m AFTER the accident at an IAAF meet. That's what I call hard core.

*a mile is 1609m so that PB is 3:47 mile pace. Get on a treadmill and set to 3:47 pace (your treadmill probably doesn't go that fast).
