I just checked the forecast --- gonna be 85F in Half Moon bay! Usually when you get over the Palo Alto hills/Santa Cruz mtns it cools down. That is some oppressive heat.

My old lady was going to head out for a day with my sister towards the Bay Area to escape it but its not even cool there.

So hot here (in Rodeo on the water ffs) that we arent letting any maintenance people work past noon.

It was 60 this morning on the way to work. It was nice.

Yup. The pic is of Jeff Clark. When I was stationed in California I went up to watch Mavericks when it was going on (2013). Disappointed because you can't get close to the water because standing on the bluff to watch is forbidden. Chartering a boat to watch it on the water is very pricey. So I watch via big screen they had set up at the hotel lol.

I don't ride that way often. I usually cross over Skyline and then down Tunitas Creek drive and head south along the coast. It's wild to think that one of the legendary surf spots in the world is right there.
