If it makes anyone feel better, this same thing happened to one of my gfs (before we met). Posted a "goodbye" vid online and took some pills with whiskey and passed out. She woke up in a hospital / psych ward. Turns out a lot of her "followers" doxxed her and got a hold of family members who saved her life.

Don't know, he made the thread, said he took a ton of pills and then logged off.

Sherdog basically all tried to PIP him, got his info, contacted family members and the paramedics got him.

I'm one of those people that hates people who automatically start calling the suicidal person a pos for being selfish, etc. You haven't lived in their shoes, don't try to act above them just because you haven't had suicidal thoughts.

One of the things I've been firm on my whole life.

tbh I'm secretely (in my head) one of those people. When you see true, third world utter poverty it's hard to fathom people killing themselves over first world problems (that's just my opinion)
but i would never actually say that to someone that has those thoughts. And i would always try to help them if I could

As you said, I have never even remotely had thoughts like that, so I have no idea what type of mindset that person is truly in. Thinking someone is 'overreacting' is certainly not going to help solve the problem......

In fact, one of my biggest regrets in life (probably the number one) is that I didn't recognize the signs in one of the Soldiers that committed suicide in my unit. I was talking to him at the smoke pit right before it happened and he seemed sad (he was getting kicked out for heroin) but I thought it was normal for his circumstance. Horrible man

I've had the thoughts relatively often, but I can understand why someone would think it's an easy way out.

But keep that to yourself, you don't gotta go calling the person a selfish piece of shit right after they kill themselves.

Someone contemplating suicide usually isn't in their right state of mind. That is why its absolute dog shit for anyone to say "THEY HAD KIDS! PIECE OF SHIT!". It would be like trying to convince a drunk person. They are basically inebriated.

I've stumbled across people basically carving their arms like a turkey and straight faced through it all. Clearly no one in the right state of mind would be able to withstand something like that. Talking to them after the fact, they stated that there was no pain or feeling at all, it just felt good (I guess that contradicts itself but you get the point).

That being said, fuck the ignorant people.
