The GOP had been grooming him and Jindal from LA to be the guy for a while. Jindal had no charisma and did horrible job in his attempt "The Response to The State of Union" and flamed out after that.

I was surprised Jeb and Ricky ran, thought it would be on or the other. They were decent duo with Jeb being the policy guy and Rubio being the face who actually has some charisma.

Rubio/Jeb would have been a decent ticket, or the other way around.

No one wanted another Bush or Clinton tho is the problem, even though Jeb is probably the best of the bunch.
