TBF - I'm surprised at how popular the show was because there were a lot of New York relate gags that I never expected to make sense outside of the tri-state area.

For example the hot dog from Papaya King - WTF, who outside of NYC will know of this place? It was actually Grey's papaya which was 2 blks from my place. I remember cracking up over this and thinking, "this will not be funny to mot people".

This is random but the 'break up restaurant' was also a couple of blks away from the place I had, and called "Pomodoro Rosso".
