Huge city dude and 99% of people have to see a judge. They also get paid by the day per prisoner so there is no real incentive for them to release you. Lol. It's a video judge since it's just a pre-trial hearing and they docket only goes to 10:15. Then they start again at 7 am unless it's a Sunday and then not until 2. In a way getting bonded out now kinda sucks for him because he will just get rotated to a pre-release cell and then the release cell which are all concrete where he will sit until between noon and 2 tomorrow. He will still be in his nasty ass clothes too because he won't go to medical and get a jumpsuit to change into. If I wasn't bailing him out (I'm 10 minutes away) tonight he would get to go upstairs, get a real bed and a phone. Hw wants to get out as quick as possible. If it was me I would have (and have before said don't bail me out until like 7 am tomorrow morning so I could go upstairs and get real food, watch some TV and get a bed and access to a phone whenever. Calls are free too up there too until your first court date. He would get out then between 6 and midnight tomorrow.

I'll remember to mind my P's and Q's when I am in the big cities. Luckily I have only been to jail in the podunk parts of this region. It takes a few hours, but getting out seems much easier here. Never had to wait to actually go before a judge. Good thing too since I was drunk and I would have surely told the court that only god can judge me.
 
Man, he's really fucking lucky. His chick is being a huge bitch (even though she parties on his shit). I'm getting his references so he doesn't have to do that shit when he gets out and can just eat, go home and get some sleep and she was like "fuck him.' I won't relay that to him obviously cause it will just fuck his head up. I'll just say she was cool and put some of my friends down for him. Man, that's fucking brutal.

I would never hang one of my boys out to dry. I'm sitting here waiting to do paperwork. They are so fucking slow. I texted my attorney for him too. He's got two state jail felony charges but my lawyer said if he's got the money he can get him deferred for like 5 years with court costs. Think that sucks on deferred is that he does every day if he fucks up and every day of the new charge. that's tough but it's his call. It'd going to cost him like 15k too and I don't know if he has that either.

After he gets some food tomorrow I am going to take him by his office so he at least listens. My attorney says they will immediately kick the coke charge and go after him with the molly charge for a plea. If he can pay and stay out of trouble he's golden but who fucking knows.

If he gets a shitty lawyer he is going to jail. I need him to hear that

That's a rough spot to be in. Its good he has you to talk some sense into him. Maybe he will listen, clean up. Be able to come up with the money. Thats quite a bit, but not much of a choice.

If you're from SoCal it's just a two hour flight. It's a great weekend get away place.
