Tri tip was excellent, got a lot more smoke in there. Ribs were ok, juicy and tender but needed more rub and I wrapped them too soon, could have used more smoke.

This phones camera sucks ass btw.

Lots of good meat in here! My uncle smoked a bunch of brisket, ribs and a bacon mac n cheese for 4th. It was delicious. Although I love me some brisket, the ribs were some of the best I've ever had.

Damn Huskylord, those is some fine looking pulled pork. I rarely cook pork butts/shoulders anymore because everybody wants me to do ribs and brisket. But I do miss a fine pulled pork sandwich or wrap... salivating right now.

Thanks man. the best thing about pulled pork is that it freezes fine and can be reheated without issue. You can make a ton and eat it as you need.

You know, I never thought about freezing it. For some reason it seems like sacrilege to me to freeze BBQ, but you have a good point with pulled pork. I might just do a shoulder/picnic this weekend. Good shit man.

There is nothing better than when you're struggling to figure out what to make for dinner then to realize, "holy shit, there's all that pulled pork in the freezer!"....and voila, you got options!

the other awesome thing about extra pulled pork is that people are always happy to take some home.

Do it mang!!!

When I go camping one of my favourite things to bring is a few vac-sealed bags of frozen pulled pork, and my pie iron.

Hot pulled pork sandwiches with crispy bread.

Bought a rib rack yesterday, will be trying it this weekend. Anybody ever use one? Any advantages or disadvantages of using one?

I used one when space was a factor and I HAD to stack in order to accommodate. Otherwise, if you have the space, they are not needed. You definitely run the risk of dropping ribs if you ever need to rotate or adjust their placement in the smoker.

God damn, you 'muricans do BBQ the right way. I've just come back to the UK from a 2 week holiday to Orlando, FL - the quality of your meat is just so good.

I ate in a few smokehouse/BBQ style restaurants, not the same as doing it yourself I know, but I really do love the way your food is prepared. I had literally THE best pulled pork, ribs and brisket in the states - we just don't get that sort of stuff over here, we do, but its so hard to come by.

I had a house rack of baby back style ribs with Memphis Dry Rub, god they were so good. I probably did this wrong but I was dipping them in something called Carolina Mopping Sauce. Golden.

Dammit. Now my mouths watering.

I miss the USA.

gonna brine some turkey legs and smoke this weekend ... what would be a good wood to use? anyone?

i just thought they were for getting more ribs on the grill for smoking as the rack is stood up .. .could also be better smoke coverage? but im not an expert
