I get your point. Comedy is one of those things too that you like what you like and not much else. Case in point my favs are Louis, Rogan, Burr, and Iglesias. I think how absurd Silverman gets has always put me off a bit. The aforementioned guys quite often just tell stories they've experienced and exaggerate the funny aspects.

Music on the other hand... My primary things i listen to are Eric Church, Sturgill Simpson, Dierks Bentley, and Cadillac Three... then I get to the gym and it's all Slipknot, Metallica, GnR, and Korn.

It's easier to bounce around genres in music.

Silverman was never funny. I don't like jokes at all, but if the intent is to crack a joke, then I don't begrudge them too much, as they are prob going for the shock thing to stay relevant, which was more prevalent 10 years ago. Patrice O'neal had a good piece on racy humor

Regarding one of the Patton tweets, it's a follow up to a previous one. Funny enough, in this time stamped clip, both he and Cernovich were speaking out against each element they are being attacked on. Patton wasn't condoning phillia, nor was Cernivich endorsing rape, not sure why fuckface Phil failed to mention the latter.

See, I'm not that big of a Gabriel fan. But I appreciate him and why people like him. And yeah if you're not that into absurdity I'm sure Sarah is a turn off but she's a master at what she does.

Someone once explained it as she is a slightly watered down long form Dave Attell. Which makes sense considering they're both from the same era and came up together in the same city.
