Then if you go by who has a higher child abuse it men. So if you put have two men the odds increases .

However male couples have a lower divorce rate then male / female couples.

Then you take in the social problems with same sex couples for the child.

So there is no easy answer. One thing is the foster system is fucked up and needs fixing and that would be a good start.
