Nate vs Poirier makes all the sense as co-main to Conor vs Khabib. Winner fights winner, and in case of a main event pull-out they’ll have Diaz or Poirier ready as replacement.

Also 230 is getting stacked to the tits, big MSG card, I just cant imagine this monster card being capped off by DC vs random LHW or Nunes vs Cyborg

About as safe as entering a burning house I'd say.

If it is don't be surprised if they pull in over 2m on PPV

    No 229 or 232
Conor, Khabib, Dana, Ariel have all confirmed it's what the UFC want.

230 will be capped off by a different return

I'd doubt they put a star like Diaz on a Conor card. Conor does not need any help selling, and Nate is probably the fourth biggest star they have now, behind GSP, Brock and Conor.

I doubt it, but if not Mcgregor they gotta be brewing something special for 230. If they plan on capping it off with something decent I feel like they’d have it announced by now. Would not be surprised at GSP v Diaz 2 foe the 165 belt or some shit.

I thought there was unconfirmed rumors that Khabib vs. McGregor is set for UFC 229?

Don't be surprised if it is capped off by a random event. UFC put Nunes over Brock's long awaited return.

If they overstack the MSG card the New Years card will be trash.

Yeah but that was a different situation. That was supposed to be Conor v Nate 2 at first. And then DC v Jones 2, which also fell through

They don't have to announce anything now, the card is over 3 months away
Tickets aren't on sale until mid-september, that's the usual deadline for a main event to be set.

There isnt anything special left for NYE anyway, unless a lot of guys fighting this month/next month dont end up too banged up.

Yea, it just seems like they moved away from New Years being a big card and just do it in November /Fight Week in summer.

Nick and Nate have mentioned they don't fight on the same card because they don't want to be worried about the other's fight

Link? It would be absurd if Jon got off without any sort of repercussions.
