S--t you hate in video games.....

May have already noted, but god dammit, here we go again..

Any type of extra effort we, the players, have to put in, for some fucking cosmetic change.

Playing Jedi Survivor and I could give a Dizzys shit if BD can be blue or Cal can have a beard.

Christ, just have those as options. But any extra effort from the gamer should have a PERK!

Game developers gotta calm down with these SKINS. Perhaps Dizzy is buying it all and they're profiting, but in main game play itself, skins should have perks.

If the game is fun, I dont care what my character/avatar looks like.

Maybe I'm alone on this one..
Skins are fine and welcome. They just shouldn't cost anything. I'll never understand the people who spend actual money on that shit. Especially in single player games.

For me as I get older, the thing I hate most is complicated/convoluted menus

I've played games where you need a freaking tutorial to understand and navigate the menu after pressing start. And the tutorial never explains it good enough. I've had to start games over just to redo the menu tutorial because when I press start, I don't know what anything is or what anything means or what anything does.

Last game I played like this was Path of Exile. I uninstalled that game after like 30 minutes because of the menu.

This is me when I press the start button and see the menu on some of these games

Dark Souls style quests.

I just did the elden ring DLC and the quests are some of the most backwards thinking stupid bullshit I have ever completed.

Without a guide good fucking luck.

Having to rehear dialogue before a boss fight when you die a bunch. Worst was God of War; I wanted to toss Head and Atreus off a fucking mountain sometimes.

Quite sure you can skip that now.

However, skipping interactions with Fey and ambrig...i dont know, they slow the game down a lot.

I suppose, but going a dangerous route for treasure and its....socks. I'd like to know ahead of time.

As soon as you fire the last shot against the final boss an achievement pops up thats something like "Finish campaign" spoiling the ending for you.
