I think its about time fighters start talking back about how bad Joe's commentary has gotten lately
Hall is my new least liked fighter. He reminds me of Jimmy Young sticking his head outside of the ropes when fighting Ali in the 1970's. I wish Maynard's corner was smart enough to tell him to stand near Hall and periodically kick his legs and take a massively boring decision. Hall's flopping when Maynard was close enough to punch shouldn't be tolerated in the scoring of his fights.
Seems legitpretty simple really, if a fighter explodes his limbs and other body parts will be scattered all over the cage. How are you going to hold guy down when he's in several pieces? Pretty basic fight strategy
Well I definitely think one of Joe's issues is that he's the only color guy on the broadcasts. You need at least 2 and a PBP guy as well. I don't think any one commentator has enough insight to talk basically by himself for 7 hours. Is there an example of a colour commentator who is vastly superior to Joe Rogan? Rogan is not perfect, but he is not as terrible as some people say.
I thought it just means he needs to use a quick and powerful movement to escape from the position. Is he wrong or is Ryan Hall saying Rohan should be more specific?
Running away from someone who is laying on the ground should not be tolerated in the scoring of his fights.

It's a bit of both. In my experience to be successful it needs to be a synchronous move.I thought it just means he needs to use a quick and powerful movement to escape from the position. Is he wrong or is Ryan Hall saying Rohan should be more specific?
Exactly my thoughts. He's still dizzy from all that rolling around on the ground.I thought it just means he needs to use a quick and powerful movement to escape from the position. Is he wrong or is Ryan Hall saying Rohan should be more specific?

there are some bad ones out there. Personally I like Mir, Cruz, Couture back in the day, Bas....Is there an example of a colour commentator who is vastly superior to Joe Rogan? Rogan is not perfect, but he is not as terrible as some people say.
Fucking hilarious dude!!! You had me in stitches. LMAOWell if Hall worked out with monkey shaped kettlebells he might be able to explode a little better
100% agree with the part about just kicking Halls legs. Maynard should have just settled for kicking hall in the ass ad stomping his feet and took his way to an easy decision.Hall is my new least liked fighter. I like Hall, but he can be a bit of a dick.
I get criticizing Joe for using vague and unspecific expressions like exploding out of something, but this whole snarky pretending not to understand what he means isn't a good look in my eyes.
I wonder if Hall has a touch of autism with his tourette's. He often seems to have an unusual train of thought and doesn't really show much emotion.
Rogan's commentary is outstanding. It would suck without him.
Nobody says perfect every time they open their mouth. Ryan Hall is right but Rogan is still awesome.
