Russo: HHH worst booker I've ever seen

He's just got over more for people enjoying yeeting than anything else imo.
Well, yeah. Better than nothing, though. A catchphrase can go a long way.
In terms of other Samoans, you can't tell me you wouldn't rather watch Jacob Fatu than him surely?
Yeah, but I couldn't say it was because of his in ring work. He's just a better character, which can sometimes accentuate the in ring stuff. I mean, if Uso eventually lands on a personality I like, I might find him more tolerable in the ring. Like, I don't think we're comparing Eddie Guerrero to Kevin Nash or anything. I don't think there's a world of difference in talent with Fatu and Uso. One guy just got the better role.

I think there's quite a big difference tbh. Fatu is way more athletic, comes across as way more intense and his stuff actually looks like it hurts (tbh probably because some of it actually does).

I go back and forth about the Cena match. He should have lost for sure but him not tapping and just passing out would have been a good way for him to see the lights on his way out but also Never Give Up on the way out too.

Bully Ray on Busted Open stated that does nothing for Gunther though and I see his point. Either way, Cena should have lost. he will have at least 3-5 Wrestle Mania moments after this.

Bullly Ray is a moron if he doesn't think this sets up Gunther for the long haul. This isn't Corbin retiring Angle. AJ is probably next on Gunther's hit list, and possibly Brock as well. This has Gunther being the big bad for the next couple years or even longer if HHH plays it right.

Cena tapping was the right call, but to the wrong move. It should have been to either the STF or Gunther's Boston Crab.

I have no idea why, but for some reason I really want to see Gunther use the heart punch.

Lots of vids like this. Sure they recycle a few main points for clout but there's a reason they're popping up.

If there was ever a right moment for a little color, could've given us an epic image for Gunther to exploit along with a nice Hart/Austin homage

I still recall in the late 90's when HHH was the least popular member of DX until he and Stephanie had a larger part of booking. I guess he booked himself as King of Kings for the next couple of decades much to other wrestlers chagrin.

Now that he runs things instead of Vince, he buries LA Knight, lets go of Killer Kross, doesn't let Ryder/Cardona back in. He seems to only push wrestlers he can control.

Russo suffers from central character fallacy worse than HHH.

He is in the first segment of JCW. Then throughout the show. Then in the last.

He has already had a bra and panties match. A pole match. His 61 wife beating friend Vito has manhandled a main eventer in the toilet. Russo is in a power struggle storyline with the real owner of JCW. Oh and he swerved the audience twice already.

Brah hasn’t learnt anything. He thinks it’s somehow meta ironic work shoot for him to pull out all the old tricks but like Jasmine St Claire doing a gangbang video, it ain’t ironic, it’s just the same old shit.

(I think St Claire is a fine looking woman and if she does a video good luck to her)

Russo would probably have booked Cena a jorts on a pole match for his retirement.
