I remember watching that sequence and thinking "Did Lineker really just go for a leglock? Bagautinov has been defending those since he could walk."

Russian fighters were very prominent in other orgs during the NHB era. there were guys fighting back in 95/96 that would have had a great chance to win the old UFC tournaments.

It's time that UFC starts expanding into eastern europe and holding events in Moscow, St. Petersburg and maybe Kiev.

They represent themselves, not their countries.

Sure, take pride in a fellow countrymen. But that's sort of primitive in the 21st century now that globalization has really changed everything.

Not if ever walk out of your basement. Stop reading western media.

Also, if you say Dagestanis are not Russians =all non-whites in USA are not americans.

And thus the debate begins...

Khabib and Rustam both have a realistic chance at becoming UFC champion and they both swear Alexander Yakovlev will walk through Maia like a hot knife through butter.......

Greg Jackson also believes that Amagov will be champion one day

Russia went off the map for way too long, crazy considering the GOAT came from there.

thread is full of so many fallacies and is pro-Soviet by its very nature

I for one welcome our Eastern Comrades to paint the Octagon RED!

lol always bet on the Russian. They're dominating Bellator also
They're not dominating Bellator and their two champs fight in the weakest divisions in the company. Shlemenko is champ solely because the UFC lured Lombard away.

I'm saying they don't represent Russia. They represent themselves as individuals, and indirectly their camps to a certain level.

Which country they are from doesn't mean shit, except perhaps if a card was to be unfold at said place.

Don't waste my time with your idiocy. peace.

I still believe Shah can take the FW belt if he were to win another tourney. Kinda dissappointed not being able to see that but atleast he is aiming to head to the UFC. I think Shah would give a lot of FWs trouble with his striking.

lol why is russia so special on sherdog that they get their own ufc record wtffff

Where is Sergei Kharitonov? The HW division always needs new blood. Why is this guy shelved? I'd have brought him over on the Strikeforce contract. Instead the UFC brings back Arlovski, one of Kharitonov's victims.

he opted not to go to the ufc. he seems to make a good enough living altnernating between kickboxing and mma in europe. He wouldnt be allowed to kickbox at all if he joined the ufc
