Russian Federation is wealthy country: average pension is approx 180 EUR, ie approx 200 USD/ monthly.
Minimal salary in Poland is higher than median salary in Belorussia and Russia.

Sure if we're willing to pay a premium to take EU and India's market share. All this requires massive commitments from all parties. And refiners crack spreads are going to be pathetic. I just exited 3\4 of my position in Valero. Moved it all into enterprise pipeline. I see massive pain coming at the pumps. And if congress actually bans Russian oil in the near term, buckle up.

All of this was created by putting democrats in charge of our economy. Ie, the green new deal, build back better, banning oil leases on federal land. We are now living the results of constant threats of over-regulation combined with threats of increased taxes to oil companies. Democrats have created uncertainty and now oil companies are not willing to make large investments in new production. Good job dems!

It is abslutely helpful. It shows moral support toward the Ukraine. It shows deep disapproval of Russia's actions. It sets the tone to how the world should regard the actions of Russia.

Civil wars are messy and not so easily condemned. Russia invading Ukraine is pretty easy.
