Russia: USA trying to start world war 3

You're kidding right?

Military dominance that will be gone in 20 years.

I don't see any country that currently has a huge nuclear stockpile and military technology leaps and bounds ahead (basically 10-20 years ahead) of most countries diminishing greatly in military dominance. Sorry bud.

In what ways would that be?

Basically Venezuela, Uruguay, Peru, Cuba, Brazil, Nicaragua, Bolivia, and possibly even Argentina can be seen as very left-leaning and having socialist principles.

There is a difference between left-leaning with socialist principles, and authoritarian Marxists, no?

Germany, France, UK, and the rest of the EU could also be seen as very left-leaning and having socialist principles as well. Of those you listed, the only ones with a real chance of deciding to go full retard are Venezuela, Bolivia, and Cuba. The rest may have socialist prinicples, but are not about to pretend that engaging in the global free market and not becoming a backwards pariah state doesn't have its benefits.

Peru doesn't belong in that list. I thank the Heavens on a regular basis that President Humala threw his ultra-socialist government plan to the garbage so he could win the runoff election, and he has left it there.

The mere possibility that he might try to pull a Chavez was enough to cost him the 2006 elections and in all the time he has been in office he's kept the liberal pro-market economic policies in place.

And the economies of Venezuela, Argentina, Bolivia, etc. are going down the shitter.

And people in power in Brazil might be on the way out.

Just for clarification, are Pupi and Zroc using Nazi Germany as an example of what Putin is/should be doing?

That's not how I read it. Looked to me like it was an example of decisions being made in spite of short-term negative economic repercussions.

12 years of expansion followed by complete annihilation seems like a poor example of a good way to do things.

LOL tremendous post. Don't understand why some people have a hard on for Russia.

I work with 4 Russians, all are great guys and all left Russia for pretty much the same reason. Russia sucks shit.

Just chess pieces to serve the real purpose.......................money. More money more problems. :icon_chee

Kazakhstand, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, AND Belarus?

Surely, the western economies can't compete with such juggernauts.

With that agreement, they've surely wrapped up the lucrative Central Asian market for low-grade prostitution.

Kazakhstan greatest country in the world all other countries are run by little girls.
Kazakhstan number one exporter of potassium!
Other countries have inferior potassium.
Kazakhstan home of the tinshein swimming pool its length thirty metre and width six metre.
Filtration system a marvel to behold it removes 80 percent of human solid waste.

Come grasp the mighty penis of our leader, from junction with testes to tip of its face

Western elitism on full display in this thread.

When has Putin ever stated that the Eurasian Economic Union is intended to challenge the EU?

Russia has applied for EU membership and was rejected.

The Eurasian Economic Union is a sensible plan for a customs market between ex-communist nation-states at similar levels of development that have a lot to offer for each other.

There's a lot of evidence that NATO/EU member countries have been very hostile towards Russia.

saying the USA and EU are better than Russia is not elitism, it is a fact

And for those who are interpreting these developments as acts of Russia's imperialism, reflect on this:

GDP per capita of Russia: 14,037.02 USD (World Bank 2012)

GDP per capita of Kazakhstan: 12,006.59 USD (World Bank 2012)

GDP per capita of Belarus: 6,685.02 USD (World Bank 2012)

GDP per capita of Ukraine: 3,866.99 USD (World Bank 2012)

GDP per capita of Georgia: 3,508.42 USD (World Bank 2012)

Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Kazakhstan have been the most Russian-friendly countries of the former Soviet Union.

A close economic relationship between former Soviet states makes sense.

The Baltic countries were easy to 'prop up' for the EU because they are countries with small populations and of significant geopolitical importance to the West.

Ukraine and Georgian politicians are dooming their own people with their provocative anti-Russian actions.

What you're intending to say, that the economies of the West are far richer than the economy of Russia, is true.

That is one of the reasons the Eurasian Trade Union makes sense. It is a vision of a customs market between economies with very similar characteristics.

The EU is an economic zone of developed/almost-developed economies.

Their 'track record' of assisting the development of their poorest nations has been abysmally poor in the last 2 decades.... not that it would matter because it would take Ukraine 2 decades of unprecedented growth before it can meet the conditions for EU admission.

Meanwhile it will be fed loans and 'financial assistance' that will damage the entire structure of its economy.

And Ukrainian politicians will be blaming the Kremlin for their devious bullshit every step of the way.

no, I meant better. other than that I would agree with your assessments.

I remember when Hitler chose to cease his advance through Europe because Forbes told him his actions would scare investors and cause a 5% loss of trade with the countries he was steamrolling

Or that time China decided it would be wrong to steal Vietnamese oil and risk their 50 billion dollar trade relations with them.

wow, you must be really old :D

Putin huylo Vladimir, might not have said it personally but this Eurasian Union certainly seems to be getting the Russian fanboys excited.

Russia has applied for EU membership and was rejected.

I wonder why?

I didn't like, nor did I vote for, Romney but, he really showed how inadequate Obama was when it comes to Russia. He pointed out in their national debate that Russia was their #1 Geo-Political foe and Obama laughed at him. Obama is a MEGA can in terms of foreign policy.

No need for apologies. Who has the bigger nuclear stick will be irrelevant.

China will have a big enough military to deter western military intervention in the event the annex Taiwan. And make bold moves in the south China sea.

It's actually already starting.

I don't know why it would even matter. There are teams of political strategists and intelligence agencies to handle short to long term geo political strategies.

What the president knows is pretty much meaningless besides how he comes off to voters, who are not privy to what is going on behind the scenes.
