Everyone in this thread fully understands the situation that led to this conflict, you haven't uncovered secret intelligence. You're just reiterating what everybody knows, but pretending it's a game changer and that people will suddenly switch camps once they realise what they knew all along.

I'm sorry, I should explain myself in more simple terms.

You claimed this all started in 2014 (which it didn't), and that a Western-backed coup in Ukraine was a starting point (which shows your ignorance). Then you claimed that Russia ONLY invaded Ukraine because they wanted Ukraine to be neutral - which they were when Russia invaded - so that logically absolves Ukraine's "coup" - and means it cannot have been a major issue in the timeline.

If Russia ONLY invaded Ukraine because they wanted a neutral neighbour, then it didn't matter who was in charge in Kyiv.

But this explanation makes absolutely no sense, as we now see Finland and Sweden lining up to join NATO, and Georgia and Bosnia-Herzegovina have also stated their intention to join NATO (ie, become 'not neutral').

If Putin ONLY invaded Ukraine for that reason, he has to invade Finland, Sweden, Georgia and Bosnia.

But he hasn't. Conclusion: that isn't why he invaded at all.

3rd when the actor campaigned to become the president, one of his promises was rebuilding relations with russia, however once he got elected he did a sharp 180 and became even more aggressive compared to his predecessors. he started talking about joining nato and getting nukes all while constantly violating the minsk agreement

prior to the special military operation the only territory they lost was crimea

now they lost entire southern part and soon gonna be landlocked while completely getting destroyed in the process

I see you cannot have an open mind, or even accept any fallibility on Russia's part if you can't even admit that the most recent referendums, conducted by armed soldiers, weren't nonsense.

Even if you want to support Russia in their endeavours, I'm not sure pretending those referendums were fair and just is the way to go about it, but you do you.
