International Russia/Ukraine Megathread V9

So the penal battalions, why is this happening?

This is more because of Russia's demographic issues. As I mention previously, Russia has just 8 million military aged men in a country of 144 million.

Somewhere between 500,000 to 700,000 were already in the military either directly deployed to the front or in supporting roles. 300,000 reservists were called up, that's already roughly 1/8th of the military aged men.

An equal number has fled the country to the surrounding states in Georgia, Kazakhstan, etc

So before we even start getting into the battlefield loses they suffered, somewhere between 1/8th and 1/4th of all
their available manpower is used up directly or indirectly for the war effort or fled the country.

That means Russia has roughly 6 million military aged men to do all the work in the country. All the fighting, all the production, all the transport. This includes their prison population of roughly 450,000, which I think is fair to assume is mostly men of military age.

tldr, Russia simply does not have the demographic depth to sustain a conflict like they did in WW2 with this rate of attrition.

In 1941, they had over 19 million military aged men and total population of 194 million.

Nothing wrong.
Businessmans small game with Ukr as cheap resin stuff.
Nothing more here.
Covid No2.
Friennds doing exercises for milking cows.

Captured Russian internal records indicate some Russian units still deployed at the front during the Kharkiv counter offensive were already at just 20% strength before the offensive even started.

For comparison, US doctrine considers anything under 70% is understrength for any mission they might be tasked with. Under 50% the unit is considered unable to carry out any military task even at degraded efficiency and must be rotated out and reorganized.

Yet in September, units degraded as low as 20% combat effectiveness were still deployed on the frontline.

This shill has has been claiming the defeat of Ukraine is right around the corner since Feburary. Only an idiot would trust his analysis or predictions at this point.

Isn't this the Serbian guy that's mad his countrymen got their shit pushed in by the west in the 90's?
I get why he's a little upset about that <45>
Only thing I don't get is the fact that he's defending Russia, who stood by and saw their little Serbian bro's get wrecked, and did nothing

So far, Ukraine has captured !!500!! fully operational tanks.

To put that into perspective, that's more operational tanks than any single EU country except Poland, which had about 600 tanks.

In fact, it's 2x more operational tanks than any single EU country except Poland. France, UK, Germany, Italy each only have about 200-250 operational tanks.

This is more tanks than anyone has given Ukraine willingly. Poland the largest contributor has provided 200 T-72s.

Russia really is Ukraine's best arms supplier.
