How depressing it must be for Russia soldiers. Your best equipment captured and being used against you.

Russia walks back risk of dirty bomb plot amid NATO warnings

AA13nk26.img

"Russia has downplayed the risk of a dirty bomb plot in Ukraine just days after claiming Ukrainian officials planned to stage such an attack following a chorus of NATO warnings rejecting the allegation.

“We have got what we wanted,” Russian deputy ambassador Dmitry Polyanskiy told reporters at the United Nations. "If this all does not happen, I do not mind people saying that Russia is crying wolf because we are speaking about a terrible disaster that might potentially threaten the whole Earth.”

Looks like NATO isn't falling for the bull$hit.

Russians have gotten really good at walking backwards both literally and figuratively.

US felt bad destroying Russia so they are helping where they can lol.

Some of this video been shown already but he does a great job explaining what happened especially when the Ukrainian Tank ran into a Russian Truck and soldiers. Really amazing stuff.

If west caves in now Russia will use the threat more consistently in the future. Once there’s a pattern they will hesitate less to escalate and west saying they’ll do something about it has less credibility. This will greatly increase the possibility on nuclear holocaust in the future.

And that is not limited to Russia. I'd like people calling for giving in to nuclear threats now explain what exactly do they think is going to happen to nuclear non proliferation.

Natural gas prices are collapsing even with Russia cutting off supplies due to unusually warm weather at this time in Northern Europe and massive build up of reserves by biggest users of natural gas in Europe such as Germany. This could continue to prove problematic for Russia as they been largely funding this war with higher natural gas prices and inflated oil prices. Cannot say I am too upset but the same cannot be said for the most part in the US as gas prices seem to have stabilized but still remain slightly higher.

T-80BVM are their most modern tanks in service, upgraded into basically pseudo-Abrams tanks with capability to fire both depleted uranium and tungsten rounds.

Latest reactive armor and fire control systems. All the works.

they had a better T-80 modernization. The BVM is kind eh.

The black Eagle tank failure(well soviet union falling) really fucked the company making the T-80.

If the Black eagle was made, that thing would have really made the Abrams looks kinda pathetic since it was gonna have a 152mm and and a phalanx system on it.

I dont understand why the Putin did the things he did with the Russian defense industry. He really screwed the a lot of the company's over.

Indeed, for most of the idiots in this thread.
For them, Ukraine is the most valuable country in the world. If nuclear war is what it takes to defend it, so be it.
You'll find out in time that most posters in this thread are not very bright. Only a handful are worth a true debate. Ignore the others.

So if Putin would have taken all of Ukraine like he did Crimea because we dont want nuclear war...would it be ok if he moved on to Moldova next? and Georgia ? how long do you keep taking a knee to Putin? Bullies need to be stopped right away, not get appeased by knee takers like you who will kiss his ass and let him invade freely with the "threat" of nuclear war should anyone stand up to him.

It's ehh but still the best they had in any quantity.

Based on the loses and captured figures I've been seeing... it seems like close to almost every modernized Russian tank has been destroyed or captured.

Funny thing is no matter what Putin does he is sinking Russia deeper in quicksand....he is fucked no matter what he does ....Cant retreat as he would look weak. a loser , an idiot etc....so he will continue to fight a losing battle he cannot win putting Russia and Russian soldiers on the wrong end of his madness....he needs to be taken out...plain and simpe.

We were fucking meddling with Russia and Ukraine before the 2014 invasion. You pull your head out your ass.
LOL! Look up the Orange Revolution. Russia meddling in Ukrainian affairs. You'd sit back and let Russia use force to reclaim it's lost USSR territory for fear of their nuclear threats. You'd let them rebuild an authoritarian empire while in the real world they're getting their shit pushed in for a piddling amount of aid in the grand scheme of things.

I'll be honest, I didn't watch the video but even if Russia's economy was NOT in collapse - which shills often claim, basing assertions on 'the strong Ruble' and other artificial measures - how long do we think it would take and how much money do we think it would take out of the Russian economy just to replenish their military back to pre-war levels?

I mean, the Western nations are showing signs of economic struggle, and we're effectively all just chipping in - Russia are taking the full economic brunt of the war single-handedly, with no economic support from anyone.

It has to be a grim future for Russia's economy unless they start making concessions ASAP - let's be honest, we don't want another post WW1-style pile on of Russia, as that's the surest way to a future World War. Look what happened to Germany between WW1 and WW2.
