That is what I am worried about right now the Oct/November surprise because he is evil to the core and not one US government official willing to say he is bluffing. Relatively low yield could still do much about scaring people at a time that the US elections are happening. Make a mess on the world stage and likely cause India to totally drop this F up relationship and get a reprimand by China.

Everyone was pooping themselves around Russian Independence Day or whatever that was, but Big Bad Vlad wasn't allowed to do anything serious then.

If he orders a retreat, it cranks the pressure up on him, not support for nukes.

I don't think it's a bad outcome for all involved if the pro-Russian areas become part of Russia to be honest, but I think the issue is that is very resource rich areas, and the desire of NATO to bleed the Russian economy through this war - there's a financial cost to them but of course the body count is disposable Ukrainians. I'm rambling, but reality is Russia needs a lot of internal reform to maximize the tremendous amount of land and resources they already have, it feels like such a better use of time and resources than invading Ukraine, but convincing corrupt officials to do this is of course a gargantuan task.

Both are equally corrupt. Personally, I think this is a European problem, not an American problem. Let Germany, France, Britain, and Italy fund and help the Ukrainians. How many more Ukrainians will die fighting this stupid war?

I don’t know why you thought it was a good idea to call me out for round 2. No conversation between you and me has gone well in this thread. I know it. You know it. I was willing yo let you go on your way after that last red ass spanking I gave you.

I have not said anything hateful about Russians in this thread. Go find a real good example of me doing so. And when you don’t, kindly apologize and stfu. I’ve not spread propaganda. I have only tapped on that brick you call a head and corrected you with the truth, to which you have had zero actual response.

You’ve come in here and had tantrums. You have called me out for derailing which you were equally complicit in. That is until now, when you called me out when I wasn’t even posting so now you’re even more guilty of it.

I’ve got some other homework for you. I want you to look up cognitive dissonance. That is the only thing that can reconcile you rooting for the country run by a dictator to conquer and destroy a free democracy, all while being on here pretending that you value freedom and democracy.

It think about this every day. They need Putin to go too far. This became obvious to me since first month of the conflict. They don't want peace or peace talks. They want Putin to do something that justifies their positions & anchors themselves into power.

Ex-French military and reporter Adrien Bocquet has almost been killed after being put on a hit list by the Ukrainian army and the SBU for reporting the use by the Ukrainian army of a French chemical weapon in Donetsk on 11th August.

2 guys tried to slit his throat in Istanbul, and he managed to survive the attack but got stabbed in the face and several times in the body and arm. 38 stiches in total. There is video footage of it.

He had to be ex-filtered from the hospital in Istanbul to Russia from for his safety.

He's now asking for Russian citizenship and Russian asylum as the West is after him.

There is mention of that attack in some of the Eastern press but not in the French media.
