True.Most conservatives I've talked to are pretty strongly pro Ukraine, with the rest (a minority) not wanting to get involved in any foreign wars. The Russophilia is an internet thing, and I wouldn't describe internet Russophiles really as conservatives. There is a strong element of third world ism and anti finance capitalism floating around those people as well.
This war has generated some strange bedfellows as people on both extremes of the political spectrum have come out in support of Russia. On the one hand, aspiring fascist types because of the perception of Russia as an anti-globalist, traditional white Christian state. On the other hand, tankies and other far left types who support Russia because of the perception of Russia as an "anti-imperialist" counterweight to the US and its Western allies.
Probably but its also politically damaging to fully mobilize after so much effort has been expended to paint this as anything other than a war.They lack the logistical capability to mobilize, IMO.
