Official Russian version of what occurred - hilarious. This is what you'd expect from NK but I suppose they learned it from somewhere and you are the company you keep.

I’ve always thought of Russia like one of those fake old western towns from movies where it’s just sheets of plywood painted up to look like buildings. It looks bustling and alive but it’s all fake and hollow.

Is Russian leadership completely retarded? This is a disaster for them. I mean, they’re 100% going to lose the war if they do not make huge changes. This “we can fight outnumbered 3-1” shit doesn’t work.

No one is that dumb, the generals know they stalled out and they needed more men. If mobilization doesn't happen after this disaster I think we may have to conclude that it's because Putin thinks he can't, either for political reasons or because the Russian state lacks the capacity.

They lack the logistical capability to mobilize, IMO.

See @PrinceOfPain this is what a proper feint looks like, not the whole lose massive amount of armored vehicles and personel trying to encircle Kyiv.

Russians got duped with the Kherson offensive and they are being trounced in Kharkiv as a result.

And the beauty part is, the Ukrainians from Zelensky down even announced that they weren't going to be giving detailed information on their movements or progress of the offensive in the near future, effectively announcing that there would be some kind of feint!

And Russia still none the wiser.

If Russia failed to see the massing of troops, or the Ukrainians tricked them, that is a pretty huge intelligence victory

Now post another little map and a picture of a blown up tank. Maybe you can do a few edits with a sharpie to get to the big victory that doesn't have Europe on the border of its economy catastrophically tanking while people are worried about whether they'll be able to heat their homes this winter. Months of this - half a fucking year - and you people are still going on about how great things are going... Oye.

Dude Russians just announced they are retreating form Izyum, they got themselves caught with their pants down.

The one consistent aspect of this war is that Ukraine has absolutely destroyed Russia from start to finish in terms of intelligence.

That's how we know for pretty much certain how well backed they are by other nations, because it's been preternatural at times.

Maybe leadership has been lying about what’s actually happening for a while now and it’s starting to catch up to them. The whole refusing to admit you’re at war thing is straight out of Vietnam.

They lack the capability, after the miserable failed attempt in Kyiv we realized that the Russian logistical capabilities are rotten to the core, the Russians can barely maintain the men they have supplied, they won't be able to suddenly, train, fed and equip millions of drafted conscripts.

⚡⚡⚡️Things are heating up. A large convoy of military equipment is moving along the Moscow Ring Road.

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation transferred all their reserves. The order was given to act decisively. A hurricane of strikes.

Russian source on TG:
Difficult situation near the village of Spornoe near Lisichansk. The enemy has been attacking all day and trying to break through our defenses.
