Iranian instructors killed in Ukraine, Israeli media says

Oleksiy Arestovich, an adviser to the President's Office, said on Oct. 20 that the Armed Forces of Ukraine delivered two strikes against Iranian military advisers in Ukrainian territory. The ministry continues to claim that they have nothing to do with the supply of Shahed-136 kamikaze drones to Russia, adding that Tehran is ready for negotiations with Ukraine in order to “refute the accusations.”

Earlier, White House spokesman John Kirby said that the United States has evidence that the Iranian instructors are present in Russia-occupied Crimea. According to Washington, they supervise Russian drone strikes against Ukrainian infrastructure and civilian population. Russia has stepped up its air and drone strikes against Ukraine’s energy infrastructure since Oct. 10, making heavy use of Iranian Shahed-136 kamikaze drones. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said Kyiv is considering severing diplomatic ties with Iran. U.S. media reports later suggested that Iran had also agreed to transfer short-range ground-to-ground ballistic missiles to Russia.

The French army is pretty sharp and would mop the floor with the Russian one IMO. Honestly that EU Army (under French command) is sounding like a pretty good idea these days.

Dont think Eu military is needed looking at rus performance.
(Not to mention our guys in Me absolutely hate being under french command lol)

Former Swedish Supermodel who was one of the top models in the world slammed Swedish news for outright lying that they where told Russia was our friends and that they need to be understood. She said its likened it to some kind of instagram filter covering the lying because they spend millions in Sweden and somehow her post on instagram was deleted she says due to Russian Influence I believe?

This is the photo of herself obviously the highly retouched one on the left vs actual and that is what she posted on Instagram that they removed. It's scary how much influence Putin has even in Facebook.

That's not why we're doing this. If it were, the US- led sanctions would not have been put in place. The sanctions are far, far more disruptive to the world economically than the war is. That's not why we did what we did.
Those sanctions are temporary and they are meant to punish them for attacking one of our trade partners. You must see that...

No longer Airborne, it is all Air Assault now. Change was made in 1974. They kept the Airborne tab for historical reasons. I'm sure WWII veterans really hate that. Top NCO is a female. CSM Veronica Knapp. Keep in mind this is a Light Infantry Division and women now serve in the Infantry.

WP: The Wagner group wants to take Bakhmut as a "trophy" -
Mercenaries from the private militia Wagner Group make repeated attempts to break the Ukrainian defenses around the city of Bakhmut in the Ukrainian region of Donetsk, but the front lines have barely changed in four months. That's what the Washington Post writes in a report.

The battles are described as tough with heavy losses on both sides and according to WP, experts believe that the Russian attempts to advance lack all logic. Forbes writes that the city has no strategic value and describes the attacks as senseless.

Both newspapers write that there are probably other things that the Wagner group wants to achieve. According to WP, it wants to get a "military trophy" to show Vladimir Putin, while Forbes describes it as a way to spread the narrative that military gains can actually be achieved despite the fact that the fighting of the last few months is largely in favor of Ukraine.

Who says? Ukraien?

didnt ghost of Kiev shoot down 80%?

I don’t buy what anyone says in this conflict

I posted an actual video of one of the drones being shot down. They are not filming every single shoot down. At this point it's crazy like 25 to 30 done shoot downs a day. These drones are relatively simplistic but used in numbers making it harder to take everything down. So the 80 percent number is relatively accurate an 80 is likely a daily estimate.

It could vary an as they learn the fact that the terrorists are targeting power an transportation it's easier to prioritize these areas as far as setting up defensive equipment. But go ahead keep feeding Russia talking points comrade lol.

It isn't easy cos targets are mainly electricity supply lines, large transformators etc...

Also they use tactique like f.e to launch first batch with 5-6 drones in tight group, then launch next batch with 5-20 these cheap drones. For one attack wave.

For more " important " objects they are launching bunch with drones and some Kalibr missiles.

Also looks that they are using S-300 missiles in ground to ground mode more often than earlier and launch these missiles in bunch...like 4-6-8-12-16 on one target area.....
