Btw it is only modern days assumption that if your country is invaded and battle in is city....
Any normal military ALWAYS use all abadoned buildings for firing positions...
BTW nothing prohibits to do this...
_
Different thing is that Russia really had shelled with missiles: A) abadoned civil buildings ( empty ) , museums ( empty ), not working civil private tire repair service...
Ohj and had claimed : we had used bla bla bla....

Also these buildings with xxx apratments in cities xxx km from frontline..
Sorry, Russia is master always to prepare excuses...

Like with Holodomor...
In reality not all Ukraine had Holodomor.
Only areas where Stalin prohibited inhabitants to relocate from these areas.

/ Interesting stuff was with one oil refinery.
Since they didn't had crude oil supplies anymore, refinery was halted and had only few casual security guards...
Russia destroyed refinery and....now they are happy .

With Zaporozia nuclear power plant it is easy to see why they stationed troops and tanks etc in power plant...
1. This increases psychological pressure on ppl in all world....Because this is very big power plant and ppl start to think about Chernobyl...damn.
2. Good tool to blackmail Ukr ...
3. Sit in safety cos NPP no one will shell...
4. Economic value: NPP is capable to work, to build such NPP is very expensive and requires more than 5 years to build such NPP...

In short Russia has a lot more ammo like millions more in stockpile in this video he gives an amazing pretty through analysis of Russia military where he said the problem is more in personal then artillery. He even talks about how autoloading rounds the issues but the benefits and why Russia decided to go this route. He believes Russia can go at it till March 2023 based on their current rate around 1.4 million shells during the first part of the war. He talks about how NASA provides substantial information about how many artillery shells are used by satellite images. He compared the images to WW2 as it is very similar.

Wow! Could they be grouped together any more than that!?!?

I think they think they are going camping and what to be able to sit around a fire and cook marshmallows lol.

LOL man that is even worse than hiding and shooting from schools and hospitals
They have to be a special kinda of stupid to do this because it poses a threat to Russia as well as a sizable portion of Eastern Europe.

The delusion is still going I see in this thread. Amazing and sad

That surrender and collapse of our economies plus change in leadership is a hard pill to swallow

Yea very telling the 180 EU has done on green energy compared to fossil fuels. The world is 80% on fossil fuel , growing countries China only cares about progress and success which has hardly any green energy

Why is it that dumb fucks always use china as their arguments against green energy?

43% of Chinese energy is green energy.
Last year China created 1/3 of the worlds solar farms.

Yeah,

Pres. Putin should just go away.

They also have the highest population along with India. They also have the largest manufacturing production in the world. Yeah they're going to pollute.

None of these disprove the fact that China has gone green.

They also are building new coal power plants tho.

"China is building more than half of the world's new coal power plants | New Scientist" https://www.newscientist.com/article/2317274-china-is-building-more-than-half-of-the-worlds-new-coal-power-plants/#:~:text=China was responsible for more, worst drivers of climate change.

More than 1,000 coal plants are in operation, almost 240 planned or already under construction. Together, coal plants in the world's second-largest economy will emit 170 billion tonnes of carbon in their lifetime - more than all global CO2 emissions between 2016 and 2020, BP data show.

Where did you pull 43% from? China's energy and where it comes from ...

  • Coal (incl. coal gangue): 4,553,800 GWh (62.2%)
  • Natural gas: 232,500 GWh (3.2%)
  • Other thermal: 147,600 GWh (2.0%)
  • Nuclear: 348,700 GWh (4.8%)
  • Hydro (conventional): 1,270,200 GWh (17.3%)
  • Pumped storage hydro: 31,900 GWh (0.4%)
  • Wind: 405,300 GWh (5.5%)
  • Solar: 224,000 GWh (3.1%)
  • Biomass: 112,600 GWh (1.5%)
Edit and those hydro damns are completely screwing other countries rivers in the south

Oil companies are profiteering, but we live in a capitalist, free market economy and therefore can't order them to undercut Russia unless we nationalize the oil industry. So sanctions are the only option to fight them economically.

I think the problem for many people is expectations... Sanctions aren't going to kill them over night. Just like most economic policies, they will be a slow burn that will take time to be fully felt. In the long term, the markets will stabilize also, and if this conflict is still dragging on, that's when Russia's economy will really suffer.

Can the oil embargo even work when countries like India and China could buy Russian oil at lower prices and resell it to US/EU at higher market rates.
