If by prevented, you mean pause until the next round of Russian aggression, yes, we could have prevented this.

Impressive, I’ve known that Lithuania had a tougher stance than their neighbors on rhetoric regarding Russia prior to all of this, and it was no doubt due to the absence of a quarter of their population being Russian.

Lituania is more about business not tensions or so on.

Since tax difference between Belarus and EU ....smuggling stuff from Belarus to EU is good underground business.

Even a no fly zone BIDEN pussed ouon bc Miley told him Russians best-in-class air defenses would savage attempted US/NATO airstrikes. It would be a massacre, the results of which after even the first 48 hours would see wiser heads calling for an immediate ceasefire.

Any large scale conflict with a nation is going to be costly to air assets,
It's just that Russia's anti air capabilities are a bit of a hype job, they do a great job of promoting them tho (a bit like the SU-57, T-14),
In real conflicts they have failed to impress so far. See Syria, Armenia-Azerbaijan and ofcourse Ukraine now.
