Meanwhile, you're getting shelled to heck and gone.

Jeez.
Russian soldiers equal lemmings.

A Russian soldier said his commander shot himself in the leg just so he could leave the war in Ukraine, officials say

"A Russian soldier in Ukraine told his mother over the phone that his superior shot himself just to go home, according to audio released by Ukrainian officials.

A recording of the intercepted phone call was published Saturday on Facebook by the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate.

The soldier, who says he is 20, can be heard complaining to his mother that the war will not end soon and that he doesn't want to be there.

"This Ukraine does not interest me at all. I need to come back and quit," he said, explaining that many other Russian soldiers do not want to be there either.

His mother pressed him on whether there are "patriots" in the Russian military encouraging other soldiers not to give up.

"Mom, the commander of my battery of the second platoon shot himself in the leg to get out of here, in the very beginning! What are we even talking about here? And he served in Chechnya," the soldier responded."

That's so sad.
But pretty close to true they have no actual defining independence on the battlefield they will just go an follow orders from someone who is clueless of the situation. They are scared to defy some of the most insane orders.

Great read on that disastrous river crossing attempt by Russia.

"82 vehicles include eight in the river. The tally includes 14 tanks and 62 infantry fighting vehicles. A Russian battalion tactical group (BTG) has 10 tanks and 40 IFVs, but there’s no such thing as a full-strength BTG in Ukraine. Likely never was. So Russia just lost two BTGs worth of troops attempting to make the same compromised river crossing three times. Can you imagine the drone operator calling it in?

Drone operator: ”Another crossing!”

Artillery fire direction: “Shit! What are the coordinates?”

Drone operator: “Uh, same ones!”

Artillery fire direction: “Ha! Okay, I really thought you were kidding the second time! That was crazy. But seriously, what are the new coordinates?”"

Ukraine Update: Russia's river-crossing debacle is beyond belief (dailykos.com)

It is a literal comedy of errors!

Man this FSB move by Putin is crazy. How can anyone even attempt to pretend this was the plan the whole time after something like that? I never thought Russia would end up looking so incompetent in my life time. It doesn't matter what happens from here on out no one will ever look at Russia the same after this.

That's also built on the entire system because otherwise you get yelled at or worse, like when Hitler is moving imaginary troops in the meme scene of the Fall, where the guys were scared shitless of telling Hitler that Steiner couldn't carry the assault.

Me too, bro. I always thought Putin was a 4D Chess Master. A bad guy but necessary to control Russia.

Turns out he was just another motherfkn chud with no idea.

Rifle school has begun with operator Starsky he is becoming famous due to his explanation of Russian VS Ukrainian methods.

Warning the most graphic images I have seen from this war horrible.

I think if Putin was going to use a tact nuke ever, he would have used one on Mauripol by now. It would have sent an extremely clear message, would have most likely gotten Ukraine to surrender completely, and NATO MIGHT not have done anything. Now its too late, the West/NATO is too invested in Ukraine. Dropping a tactnuke on another Country is blasphemy and will never happen. I'm not entirely sure where we go from here if Putin isn't taken out though.

I honestly thought that would be the most likely place to use chemical warfare.. ( in the steel factory ) . Thought they'd just pump it full of gas how they did the hostage situation..

Glad to be wrong on that one so far.

What a mess.

Good ol' Rand Paul from 2016 talking shit

Lol. I don't think anyone is claiming that. As a matter of fact it's what I said would happen to the Russians if they tried to push from the east.

I still think your title should have been used tho. Booo

England number two behind Johnson dropped some major news.

1 Ukraine receiving NATO level of support.

2 Asian countries are seeking NATO membership "yikes". Huge news

3 pressing ahead with Sweden an Finland NATO membership.

Big stuff happening could have huge implications.
