Why not? Germany and Co had been warned years ago that Russia might use supplies as blakcmail tool.

Germany ofc assumed that they are more smart than countries they assumed to be " nervous poor eastern europe ". Like Poland and Lithuania.

Meanwhile in the international space station:


The liberation day of Lugansk people's republic is being celebrated on land and in space.

The entire territory has been liberated. The forces of Russia and Lugansk have taken over the last major city of the area.

Russian space agency and our astronauts who are now working in the international space station joins the celebration of the new victory day.

This is a day which the people of the occupied territories have been waiting for for the past 8 years. We are sure that July 3rd, 2022 will be a significant date in the history of the republic.

People of Donetsk, wait for us!

But they ARE comftorable supporting imperialism as long as it's done through coups and corporate control. As long as the facade of borders and democratic choice is there people should feel comftorable.

At this moment in time, do you think America fits the technical definition of an imperialistic nation? If not, which countries are you referencing?

The fact you're latching on to the word technical really just proves the point. The US's imperialism is ususally more direct(usually, look at Iraq) but it's actually worse because of it's manipulative nature.

The US isn't a traditional imperial state who conquers and holds territorys it installs friendly regimes(typically fascist) that are friendly to US interests and has middlemen from the same country.

Ofc, if in Russia, then corps for you automatically will be good thing and imperialism too will be good.

Banks, gyms, retail stores networks, HR agencies, IT companies networks etc.
Pawnshops and pubs chains.
Franchises.
All this is also in Mother Russia.

Ofc stuff like Gazprom and Rosneftj are de facto FSB ( KГБ ) controlled businesses.

It's not just Donetsk and Lugansk people's republics anymore. It's also Kherson, Zaporozhye, and other territories.

The aim is still de-nazification and de-militarization of Ukraine, but since the talks in Istambul, which happened in march, things
have changed.

If the West keeps arming and supplying Ukraine, making it a
security and souvereignty threat to Russia and the liberated republics, they are preparing to push even further to remove the danger.

Would be nice if I could read the original,to fully understand what's going on instead of the cherrypicked retelling of it by the western media.

Lavrov is a pretty important dude in all this and always comes out with bangers whenever he opens his mouth.
