Well the criticism was levied against Hollywood. So that doesn't really factor.

As far as Hollywood WW2 films are concerned, Enemy at the Gates is clearly one of the best.

Incredible sets and special effects. Likeable characters acted well by good actors. Good story and pacing.

Historical accuracy and propaganda aren't really a factor.

Does Putin really expect Hollywood to put our Russocentric propaganda for him for free?

Lol. Why are you bringing Putin to everything? :D Just watch the movie I pointed out and make your own opinion about it.

Did you read the post I quoted?

Putin was crying that Hollywood doesn't make any good WW2 films staring Russian propaganda.

If we are lucky we will get a Baliwood version.

One theory I read is that they're using old WW2 tactics by utilizing weaker forces/conscripts in the north and west as some sort of bait, while their stronger forces are in the south east. It forces Ukraine to split up their military, but also leaves their men in the north exposed. Like with everything else, not sure if it's accurate or not.

The old WW2 tactics of getting 5 of your generals taken out?

This one is the toughest to watch, but truly a masterpiece. Hollywood simply couldn't make something like this, watch it if you haven't already. By far the best WW2 movie ever made. "Come and see", directed by Elem Klimov.

Putin and co. will claim the Germans did it anyway.

Or did they move away from this excuse recently?

What nonsense is this?
"The Main Military Prosecutor's Office launched a criminal investigation into the murders of Polish officers, which received the serial number 159. During the conduct of the case, the actions of USSR officials were qualified under paragraph "b" of Article 193-17 of the 1926 Criminal Code of the RSFSR in force at the time of the crime, as " excess of power, which had grave consequences in the presence of particularly aggravating circumstances”. The investigation reliably established the death of 1803 Polish prisoners of war and identified 22 of them, as a result of the execution by the decisions of several NKVD officers."

Me, for a month now: They don’t want the west
Russia never makes a serious push for the west
R/Ukraine posters here:It’s because they stalled and ran out of supplies and Putin’s a retard and you’re a shill reeeee

I don’t think Putin ever wanted Kiev, day by day it becomes pretty clear. Or, that he wasn’t prepared to escalate to that point, which was always going to be especially brutal and bloody for both sides

You: "there is no invasion as there are no dead bodies"

I need to find the original quote by him first, but I actually see no problems here - Hollywood is really spreading bullshit propaganda. Enemy at the Gates is a fine example of it. I literally LMAO'd watching it. The plot is weak and unrealistic, heroes looked hilarious for Russian viewers and even the action parts suck.

But I'm also mostly not replying with malice with smart ass stuff like that. I like @Dexter and he's an unabashed shill for Russia. I'll make smart ass comments to him but it's not personal.
The feeling's mutual, comrade (no homo). I really enjoy our back-n-forth poking :D.

P.S. I find it really strange that some people here think that I should be anti-Russian, being a Russian citisen. You can be anti-Putin or government, but you can't root against your own country.
I did not write that.
Click on the original post and see:
Losing, but they will eventually take over the Ukraine.
. Ratio killed: 1:10 (Ukrainians to Russians)
. 5 Russian Generals killed.
. Russian soldiers have little food and ammunition. Supply problems.
. Cold weather is affecting soldiers and vehicles.
. Morale is low and desertion is going up.
. Leadership problems.
. Communication problems.
. Vehicles are breaking down and running out of gas. No Maintenance.

9 million working age Ukranians are outside the country, and most experts think their population has shrunk to under 40 million. I expect that there are far fewer able bodied men there than the numbers would indicate.
About 90% are women and children.

Lol, you dishonest lil shit. You, for a month….omg Putin's never gonna attack. Y’all be tripping etc etc

No serious push ? Ever heard the story of the Fox and the Grapes ?
When the hell did i say that?
