The reality is there isn't much appetite for WW2 films, let alone Russocentric WW2 films in the west anymore. It's 2022.

The reality is there isn't much appetite for WW2 films, let alone Russocentric WW2 films in the west anymore. It's 2022.

This movie is meh. I can literally dissect it step by step for bullshit and propaganda. Germans have a far better one, more historically accurate and without bias to any side:

Well the criticism was levied against Hollywood. So that doesn't really factor.

As far as Hollywood WW2 films are concerned, Enemy at the Gates is clearly one of the best.

Incredible sets and special effects. Likeable characters acted well by good actors. Good story and pacing.

Historical accuracy and propaganda aren't really a factor.

Does Putin really expect Hollywood to put our Russocentric propaganda for him for free?
