I wonder if the actions Russia took in January in Kazakhstan made them a bit overconfident.

In Kazakhstan, Russia sent troops to protect the president from being over thrown. Many were killed. Thousands were arrested.

That's much different than going into a country in the hopes of overthrowing the current president.

The invasion was gonna happen. The US DoD called it weeks in advanced, they have proven to be a credible source of accurate intel. Same with the British MOD.


I dont get why its so hard to believe this. Russian MOD has proven over and over they're incompetence with handling there own damn invasion

I'm full aware of what your saying. I'm saying if you want stable source of info US intelligence has been pretty much spot on. UK ministry of defense as well.

I always expect fair and balanced analysis of these things by the media we consume. You know, look at the stories of bravery of Ukrainians resisting Russian invasion as compared to the number of stories about bravery of Iraqis resisting a Yankee invasion. I think it's perfectly even in the media here. Certainly there is no bias.

I am with you when you say Western media is an absolute bag of house shit, but using good defense orientated sites coming from intelligence agency's is better then god damn CNN or fox, or tucker dick sucking Carlton an the trump fucks

Maybe because putin literally recognised the donbas and moved troops to the borders before the invasion?

There's a vast difference between getting that right and getting a accurate body count lol

Also both those intelligence agencies led us into a invasion based on utter falsehoods... forgive me for being doubtful....

I don't understand why it's so hard to understand my scepticism.....

TBF the amount of information coming in is kind of hard to sort threw. But i think the UK mod confirmed they're losses recently are somewhere between 7500-9500
