Russia/Ukraine Megathread V5

I'm pro-truth, actually :D. I'm from the Evil Empire itself aka Russian Federation. Helping my western comrades to expose the most blatant lies from the Ukrainian side.

P.S. It's not 7.62, btw, It's 5.45×39mm. We don't have 7.62 mm calibre AKs right now except for some recon units which prefer AKM(S) over AK-74М. Newest AK-102 and AK-105 are also 5,56 and 5.45 respectively.

<YeahOKJen>

If I'll claim right now that I killed some Ukrainian general, will you believe me, man?
How can you believe anything Ukrainians say if they were already caught lying multiple times? :D

your not posting source's, proof or anything. Your just posting non-sense and derailing convo's to talk about neo nazi's

Our comrade @Zinger stated that the balance has already shifted to the pure-Latvian population.
I guess that makes sense since it's Latvia. It will be nice if the pure-Russian part of the population mixes with the natives -so to speak- before Russia can claim that since those are pure-Russians the land they live on can be called independent territory and send their soldiers in.

That's a quick way to blow through 100's of millions of dollars in fact some est. say it's around 200 plus million a launch. The reason why US gave up on their 70 mile range much talked about rail gun was it could shoot 100 plus rounds a min the issue was it was going to cost "380,000 per round" 38 million to do so lol. These where hypersonic bullets with only 70 miles of range. US basically saying anyone can build a hypersonic weapon but making one that made sense that was a whole set of problems.

Raython seems to have potentially already has an answer in the works for taking down hypersonic rockets using extremely high powered microwaves to burn out the rockets systems. This is a 2018 test new versions have a great deal more power and do not cost 200 million to use each time.

Don't disagree, but someone said that video/reporting of it might not be accurate because there was no sonic boom. But there would only be the one sonic boom once reaching the initial sound barrier velocity, correct? It would not continually make sonic booms?

Any "fuck-up I blamed on someone else" example, please?

Sure:

Attempting to deflect from Russian casualty numbers by citing the Russian state media, who continually deny their shit-tier operations and the number of dead, by claiming they had been hacked.

They also wanted to remake the Middle East and neutralize the Iraqi threat to Israel. Cheney et al are war criminals for sure, no doubt in my mind they should be rotting in prison.
Out of likes. Although I don't think GW was the best President I do think he gets a bad rap. Having bad council is different than being the actual schemer.

He has said before if he is shown to have posted fake or false information he would self ban from these threads. I doubt would live up to it though. I posted an article with evidence of Russian involvement in the Donbass region. He refused to acknowledge it.

I am not familiar with the technology, but would it continue to sonic boom if it already was at that speed?
Yes.
That is why the Concord had to go subsonic when approaching a city (airport). A sonic boom is an event, produced by the shock(s) passing over something - an observer, a building, the ground. Sonic booms generate enormous amounts of sound energy, sounding similar to an explosion or a thunderclap to the human ear. Chelyabinsk meteor over Chelyabinsk, Russia, 2013 (notice how glass windows are blown up):

Sorry, I’m being dense, claimed by whom?

This is all based on an article on a Russian tabloid site where they said the official numbers were the 10k or so, nothing about them being leaked or anything. The paper has since stated they were hacked and the numbers were bullshit. It could all be an inadvertent leak but that just doesn't seem like the most likely answer. Especially since there's already been heaps of stories about Russian sites being hacked already.

I wonder if they have 100 genders and pronouns in Russia

Well I believe that while the Russian media has only referred to the 10,000+ dead as just "men," there is an argument to be made that this largely young and uneducated mass of casualties could be referred to as "kids."

But that doesn't really change anything.

200 million plus?!

Holy shit, even the Oligarchs can't afford so many of these...

People who doubt US intelligence on this are Putin simps addicted to copium.

US intelligence agencies are literally watching every skirmish in high definition from drones and satellites while listening to comms from both sides.

They may be watching everything... but I'm still not going to believe us intelligence as a source..

They literally lie constantly.. and will always do so.

I wonder if anyone will ever make that claim about Putin, re: bad counsel getting him a bad rap.

Hope not.

Coming from you that means very little. I have been following this thread from the beginning. Anything you dont agree with you label a Putin apologist but Vladi wont even invite me to eat. But your missing my message. US wanted to hunt terrorists but created a genocide a genocide who by the way never had any consequences for the american people or its goverment. Putins objective doesnt matter, the one thing that does is the damage he created.
My apologies. Your point went completely over my head.

I remember reading about it, it was something around 140 million apiece when the US army considered it. I get that the development of such a weapon is costly, but how the hell is every launch so expensive is beyond me. Someone is making a huge profit or I'm just being stupid, or both.
