Listen I'm not old enough to remember any political stance of mine at that time, I was too young to have a round opinion. Instinctively even as a kid it didn't sound wise to enter in such a war. Later I've read Sadam was threatening Kuwait with extinction. So maybe US should have helped Kuwait. They decided to go all in, kurds and iraqi shiites survived too. Was it a good thing? The americans have answered that the best. Almost all of them are now against a total war with Iran. 99% of them are against whatever agression against Greenland. One thing I like about the western system is it learns and adapts and corrects it's mistakes. They know Maduro no bueno but they minimize the casualties. They don't go into a small special operation to take say Baghdad and be nowhere near after 4 years and with 1 million casualties. Rus have that rotten soviet mentality in which they still see themselves as somebody capable to take actions similar to those undertaken by the US but they forget they lack the force to do those operations and end stuck in long inhumane wars of decapitation and killing with no goal no progress no ideal no real long term interest, just sheer human life destruction for the ego of the ruling elite.

I agree that a general calming and cooling down of bad emotions is always healthy AAAAND maybe we have exhaggerated somewhere with an over reaction to some videos but sherdog is overall clean, no gore and explicit stuff is allowed... mostly we react to posts which have to do with a downed russian plane or a burning refinery... i agree that as people we should not let our soul enter a spiral of hatred directed at people rather at the regime... But there's another BUT here... rus is most of the time sending so called "contractors" and those aren't exactly forcefully mobilized... they are men in their 40s and 50s who get paid money with their new job of killing people... they aren't some unlucky young guys trapped by some martial law... if the russians were a bit more self aware they would have stopped this massacre already!

We hate the Kremlin regime, daily war crimes, the callous nature in the way Russia conducts the war, etc...but I am sure you don't see or read about the way Russia blows up civilian trains and buildings, does double tap strikes to kill first responders, etc ....please continue with your crocodile tears...

No one is applauding empty deaths. What we are supporting is the premise that at a certain casualty point for the Russians, the war will become unsustainable. Most of the Russians fighting also are not there by accident, they signed lucrative contracts to go and die.

Also please point us to where US wrote into its constitution the Afghanistani or Iraqi territories.... I'll wait...other than wasting trillions of dollars what did US get for its troubles? Taliban got to keep American weapons and now relegalized slavery.
