...what is Putin waiting for? Russia should have had a complete mobilization back in 2022. Not to mention leveling Kiev and other major cities with conventional missiles. Russia is holding back on these two issues and Ukraine thinks they have the upper hand in this conflict. I'm not sure why Putin (Russia) has chosen this agonizing and slow way to fight this war. It is the only reason the Ukrainian Army has had any success and not been defeated. Despite 4 years of a slow go in Ukraine, Russia still ties with China for the number 2 spot in military world power. Had Netanyahu been in power, he would have unleashed 'hell' in major Ukrainian cities and had a full mobilization back in 2022. The conflict would have ended in 2022. The man has no regard for human life - especially innocent civilians.

BTW interestingly that Ukraine had significantly reduced attacks attempts on oil refineries.
It is very suspicious.

Because Russia is using time given to improve refineries protection in all aspects, from counter intelligence and security measures in refineries and safety nets and cages, ofc also installing more radioelectronic warfare stations and improving these really a lot, plus more air defense assets too.

Russia is given gift to prepare more.

Oil refineries damages might heavily reduce profits from crude oil industry in Russia, while due to inablity to process all crude oil production in Russia, it automatically will increase crude oil supplies supply in market with this reducing unprocessed crude oil market prices...

Damaged refineries with still intact unprocessed crude oil production exactly generates more crude oil supplies than refineries are able to process and cos this price drop for unprocessed crude oil.

U.S and european refineries does have more than enough reprocessing capactity.

From military things for ukr very big problems are obivious hike in supplies from North Korea Russia is getting. A lot. Different stuff.

2 nd : Russia had seriously increased drones on fiber optic and these are very big problem.

3 rd : Russia had significantly improwed tactiques how to infiltrate with small groups.

They are very carefully recon areas in order to find where ukr does have lesser drones, recon and troops installed.
Then they are doing some actions to distract attention ..... and prefers bad weather conditions episodes when to send 2 -3 guys small teams with task to sneak behind " frontline "....

Drones on fiber optic are immune vs radioelectronic warfare and to install air defense units in mortars firing range from enemy positions is super high risk. Especially if to bear in mind that mortar ammo is damn cheaper than howitzers ammo.
