International Russia/Ukraine Megathread V15

Where did i suggest that? I saw a number of news outlets report a large attack was launched. News sources that don’t normally report these daily attacks, because it is bigger than normal.

Are YOU suggesting this wasn’t a bigger than normal attack?
You asked the other guy if he was suggesting that russia didnt hit Kiev and other areas last night. That is a silly question because they hit Kiev and other areas almost every night. That's all I am saying.

Western media see strikes on Ukr as boring casual daily routine ...if matushka is hit, then for them something new and more interesting.

Western media see strikes on Ukr as boring casual daily routine ...if matushka is hit, then for them something new and more interesting.
Especially in response to something like Spiderweb. The media outlets were probably salivating in anticipation of Armageddon that russia would unleash on Ukraine, yet they got a very tamed "retaliation" in comparison to nightly russia's attack on Ukrainian civilians.

Now what is going soon on the surface is the gradual elimination from the mafia state power position of the Kadyrovites. Either some new chechen/other rus muslim formation takes power instead of them and the transition is smooth or Akhmat boys resist and it gets ugly.

Most funny that russians are living in their dreams and russian info bubble. They even doesn't see that instead of deMilitarization dumb Putin had Militarized Ukraine and crybabies found excuses just to blame bad west.

Before march 2022 th for example, despite ukr dreamPR and russian dreamers crying..

Longest range ground to ground weapons Ukr had were :
1. some small batches of USSR era Thocka U with 120 km range and Thocka with 70 km range..m
2. some Smerch MRLS with 70 km range...maybe some missiles for this with 90 km range ...

After war started, Ukr started to do something instead of casual for them PR talks...
1. adopted some old 1970 ies USSR era recon drones and air def training drones to carry warheads for strikes.
2. adopted cheap small crappy airplanes to carry warheads and converted them into drones...
3. adopted anti ship subsonic missile to hit ground targets....

4. Ofc most impressive is how they adopted bunch of different civilian cheap stuff to be used as cheap drones...for military.

* air def training drone = it is target drone used to test radars, SAM systems....
Usually they does have speed 100 - 600 - 700 m/s, some even 800 - 900 m/s.

Some air def target drones are based on old models SAM missiles or cruise missiles.
If you add warhead ...then..

The paranoia has set in and now there are miles long lines of trucks waiting to be inspected in Russia.

I think they also should hit airports in Moscow and St Petersburgh. could totally plug the country if those 2 airports get shut down....UKR cant just sit back and let missiles go into apartments day after day and not play the same game to a certain extent.

Russia does use car tires on airplanes wings when they are parked...it is rumoured that it is Putin's idea.
Maybe FSB and Russian scientists had developed some secret solution....they are experimenting.

Nice spin, but we are talking about Russian-UKR.
They have never stopped bombing woman and children and civilian targets.
Makes no difference. Innocent civilians are dying in both theaters. Ukraine and Israel.
You continue to be dumb and wrong. You make it sound like Russia is doing something wrong when many countries have done the same thing. The United States:
. U.S. and British bombings of Dresden, Germany, in 1945 (four separate bombings) killed approximately 25,000 innocent civilians.
. U.S. firebombing of Tokyo, Japan, in 1945 killed approximately 100,000 innocent civilians.
. U.S. bombing of Hiroshima, Japan, in 1945 killed approximately 140,000 innocent civilians.
. U.S. bombing of Nagasaki, Japan, in 1945 killed approximately 80,000 innocent civilians.
. U.S. drone strikes in Afghanistan during the war killed approximately 1,750 innocent civilians.
. Russian missile and drone strike in Ukraine on 6 June 2025 killed 3 innocent civilians.

Russia Has Won the Ukraine War

The war in Ukraine is effectively over, with Russia on a clear path to achieving its objectives through a grinding war of attrition that has exhausted Ukraine and outlasted Western and NATO resolve.

-Russia's military has adapted, its economy has been reoriented away from the West despite sanctions, and its political regime under Putin remains stable. In contrast, Ukraine faces a critical and irreversible manpower crisis that no amount of Western hardware can solve.
more

-The idea that Russia might still lose is a comforting but dangerous illusion; Russia is methodically consolidating control over its limited territorial aims.

So, is there any way Russia could still lose? Only at the level of fantasy. Only in the realm of narratives unmoored from facts – as with the delusional fantasies regarding Operation Spiderweb. The battlefield favors Moscow. The economic sanctions have failed to break its will. The regime has stabilized. And the West has no plan – none – for reversing any of this.

Which means it’s time to start thinking like realists. The question is no longer how to defeat Russia, but how to limit the damage of a war we have already lost in everything but name. That’s not a message anyone in Washington, Brussels, or Kyiv wants to hear. But it’s the only honest one left.

The tragedy of Ukraine is not that it fought. It’s that it was led to believe victory was possible – when all along, the most it could hope for was survival. And even that now hangs by a thread.

Unfortunately unlike about different drones, I'm very sceptical about Ukr PR during long years about their long range cruise missiles potential not alone ballistic missiles potential.

They can't produce even just 122 mm Grad MRLS simple unguided MRLS missiles clones , even 1970 ies models.... despite load of propaganda during xx years.

Hrum 2 / Sapsan ballistic missiles are only in YT and propaganda blogs etc....since 2019 th... it is annoying.
Their ballistic missiles production reality doesn't even reach 1990 th (!) Iran or North Korea level. Harsh reality thus far...
Ofc with enemies you can't fight with blogs and YT clips etc....

So, let's prepare talks about Neptune.

If comfirmed tests with 280 km range and 150 kg warhead , done 2019 th are reality ( most likely are )...

Then ofc pretty realistically might be by using the same missile body and engine, for example increase range till some 300-330 km... more?
Then, for exmple solution No1 is to reduce warhead and increase fuel reserves.
Solution No2 is not to use. Arh head for seeker..

If combine No1 and No2 solutions, 400 km range might be reached...
However in no case 1000 km range...

If the same missile body, engine and the same fuel 100 - 150 kg warhead....

Ofc if it had initial warhead for example 225 kg and 280 km range ....then potential to extend range definitely had been higher.....
