One from my gradparents had damaged his hands because he had repaired tanks. At least I had happiness to know him when I was kid. He even had taught me ho to use some simple tools. This old grandpa was nice.
Another grandpa was elected Master of Craft...and he managed to serve for idiots hitlerites 0 minute 0 second despite was in occupied area. 0 second. He had paid with joints, tendons health etc in legs...wild life in forest etc.
After war he had job to repair technical stuff and teach young apprentices to do job ...until he died.. had job till last day of life.

For me like insult might look idiots posting about war with 0 sense.
Like for example I'm from Ukraine ....and and interested about funding opportunities etc.
Wartime economy is when 6 citizens are working for war effort in order to have 1 soldier in frontline. WW1 and WW2 reality.
Our teens girls and boys had worked together with old uncles and grandmas in order to defeat Axis.
