Aid cut off by new Slovakian government actually is very important for Ukraine.
Now new parliament and cabinet of ministers are against any military aid for Ukraine.
There also is some shit that Ukr even does have some stuff manufactured in Slovakia and therefore does needs spare parts for this.
Even worse: Slovakia does have USSR caliber ammo Ukraine is begging for. It is from ammo for assault rifles till 152 mm shells

Orban wants 0 sanctions for Russia 100% and is thinking that Ukraine despite war is obliged to provide smooth transit of all russian stuff through Ukraine....and he doesn't cares that there is war.
He had crybaby stance in front of EU trade commission and insisted that Ukraine despite war should provide smooth transit for Russian stuff to Hungary.
Dombrovskis had sent him to read contracts and stipulations & clauses and that commission should evalue documents signed before making any session about decision.
Orban threated to block one from bills worth 6,5 b EUR ....
Looks that EU might in reality block any subsidies payments for Hungary cos urzula is very angry.....
It isn't easy to kick Hungary out of EU, especially because Slovakia now does have pro Kremlin oriented president and PM....
While EC/EP in January 2025 th really are capable to cut off ALL subsidies for Hungary.....forever....
Unlike to expel some country, where you need all other countries to agree...to cut off all subsidies is enough with majority vote 50% votes +1 vote....LoL.
And this most likely will happen if Orban will continue to tell that he wants to build new nuclear reactor by using Rosatom and to purchase even more nuclear fuel from TVEL ...

There is stuff that legal stuff and laws in EU are very complex and situations are different. Ofc also clauses.
For example assistance for countries not full EU members from collective funding requires that all member countries will vote YES.
However collective voting doesn’t impact individual decisions each country might do to support some country.
So by using nuances Orban now is blocking next 6,5 b EUR bill for Ukraine......
While if decision is made about EU member countries, then we might cut off all subsidies for the same Hungary with just 50% + 1 vote....and this will be more than 6,5 b EUR cut off...
We also might freeze subsidies payments etc in such case....
Orban most likely soon will get that we do have enough support to cut OFF all subsidies from collective funding for Hungary.
In such cases it might require months and years to launch such payments again...if this ever will happen.
