The clowns in this thread have been saying Ukraine is winning for 2 years now- even though the average age of their military is 43 years old.

Russia of today isn't the Soviet Union of WWII. They're not sending women to frontlines and they don't practice forced conscription. They have the manpower to not have to do these things.

This has nothing to do with the Soviet forces suffering 20M casualties in WWII.

If the Russians had lost anywhere close to the 500k-1 million men claimed by Ukrainian & western sources since the start of the war, you'd be able to see the graveyards from space. There'd also be a massive jump in excess mortality when looking at actuarial tables, death & inheritance registries, cell phone records, and tax statements among other things. That hasn't happened. When you go through the various tables & databases, you get somewhere between 70k-130k dead on the Russian side from 2022 to now.

I mean casualities is a vague term....It could mean dead, injured, missing, etc. So it doesn't mean that they all are buried under clumps of dirt.

It is totally fair to be unsettled with data represented by Western Sources but at the same time, you should be unsettled with the data represented from the Russian side too. Western Sources will likely elevate the number to make it look like victory is near and Russian Sources will likely depress the numbers for the same reason. The truth is more likely in the middle of both counts.

The winter played a role but the major turning point was the battle of Stalingrad. After losing this battle the German military never went on the offensive again and resorted to scorched earth defensive strategy. It was downhill from there.

What stopped them was the fact that they were too far ahead of their supply lines and they would have ran out of fuel, ammunition, food and medical equipment and would have eventually been encircled and overwhelmed so Hitler to old Guderian to pull back.

You claim Ukraine is "winning" but if they're winning then why are they sending women to die on the frontlines while hundreds of thousands of able men are partying in nightclubs in western Ukraine?
