In case anyone was wondering, Times Now is an Indian tabloid rag who currently holds the record for largest defamation suit ever lost in that country. If you want a peek at some of their stellar journalism, I offer this nugget:

On 6 September 2021, Times Now was criticised for a report using video that suggested a Pakistan Air Force jet was hovering over Afghanistan's Panjshir Valley. The video was soon revealed to be a United States Air Force F-15 jet filmed by a YouTube airplane enthusiast in Wales filming the jet within the Mach Loop three months before.

If you had to resort to sources this shitty, russia must be doing really bad.

Debating with him is almost impossible. As you know he can spin anything into anything. Aside from the GDP thing it really isnt the end all be all of what's happening inside a country anyhow. He will find a pro Russian vid and want to believe it's true even if it's joke.

Ukraine's currency isn't worth pennies like the Ruble. Sanctions are strangling Russia's economy, and their soldiers won't fight for free.

What a stupid comparison, America in Afghanistan and Ukraine IN russia lol America was the outside (occupying) force in Afghanistan, Ukraine is fighting a defensive war, if you wanted to do that comparison you got to switch the roles dumbass.

Ukraine has to stop two Moscow goals in order to be considered successful:
- total destruction of AFU
- ukraine ruled by a Moscow puppet government

Ukraine has managed to block both of those goals even stated by Putin himself in other names such as demilitarization and denazification. And don't even worry about the number of years it will last, it's the worry of the invading agressor how much he is willing to waste for occupying foreign land. For Ukraine it's their war for freedom and independence from Moscow. As long as they resist they are existing, the moment they don't resist their nation is gone the assimilation route.
