Classic example how fake are such promises is Uk with their brexit advocates.

It is easy to blame immigrants about unemployment and high rent and mortgage prices, to blame EU about inflation ....and to promise reduce immigration, reduce inflation and rent prices, reduce unenmployment %.


While what had happened after holy Brexit?
1. Immigration had increased...
2.U Rent prices had increased.
3. Mortgage prices had increased.
4. Inflation had increased....
5. Unemployment didn't had decreased....
6. Loans for average joe are more expensive than before Brexit.

Reality vs populists promises.
Tuition fees too had increased cos rich foreigners still are allowed .....

50 b EUR bill had passed IMHO just because Orban does knows that besides collective mechanism there had been options to provide this bill on individual basis ....i.e to use financing from individual basis from countries .....AND then Orban had been helpless to impact this....
Now he didn't had used veto and therefore it is under collective assistance AND this makes Orban options to slow down funds issue each year.....
With next 2 months long delays each year....

Laziness to invest in fortifications despite it was known that Ukr will not be NATO member ( since 2008 th failure ) and 2014 th shit with lazy and in reality not concerned west...

At least cheap mines they easily might had produced since 2008 th and accumulated mountains cos they had know how and exp plus cheap resources and cheap workforce....

How frontline might get managed without increase of supplies and how Soviet or NATO doctrine might be implemented when you want to regain territories vs opponent who does have more technique, more air defense and more ammunition and ....without air support and when you don't have enough long range weapons.
Economy didn't had been transited to wartime unlike in russia....
Mobilisiaton slowed down while there is necessity for a lot of workforce behind frontlines!

It isn't approach like even U.K or U.S or Germany or USSR or Japan had during WW2.

Building projects for apartments ...
Earlier were even museums reconstructions projects!!!
U.K and U.S didn't had affforded this, Germany and USSR or Japan too didn't had afforded to invest in non essential stuff

In order to win vs Russia Ukr needed to do total mobilisation of society ....like countries did during World War II.
This means 1. Wartime economy launched ASAP. Not to talk about this after 2 years!of war....
2. People behind frontlines and all civies might be ordered to do essential work. Doesn't matter is this hospital, power station, railroad, ammo factory etc....

0 museums and design projects for fun, there 0 place to think how to get mortgage loan and you might sit in armchair and make & donate socks for frontline soldiers etc......instead to dream about next gadget or to discuss about price or crack for next video game .....

Ukraine is talking about e- government and digitalization and this is cool for peacetime.
While their politicians most likely are delusional dreamers: not all Ukr inhabitants does have access to internet and electricity supply.
Therefore they are begging civies living in EU and charities + municipalities & governments to donate generators and fuel for them...and they are recieving....

Kiev is dreaming that everyone in Ukraine does have easy access to centralised electricity supply, not alone internet....
