International Russia/Ukraine Megathread V15

Russians are starting to get a taste of their own medican

"There’s a loud buzzing sound as a small silhouette approaches in the air. The noise is eerily reminiscent of Russian drone strikes on Ukraine, but this episode was recorded closer to Moscow than to Kyiv.

“They’re flying right towards us,” a woman is heard saying in Russian, in a video shared on social media and reviewed by CNN. As the object comes closer, it becomes clear: This is a Ukrainian drone, flying over Russian territory. “I’m f**king scared,” she lets out.

Another video, recorded moments later, shows the same drone veering left as loud air raid sirens muffle the propeller’s noise. Seconds later, the drone dives from the sky, smashing into a pipe-covered tower at a Russian oil refinery, exploding on impact.

CNN geolocated the videos to Rosneft’s Ryazan refinery — one of Russia’s largest — more than 500 km (311 miles) away from Ukraine. The strike on March 13, one of several on this facility alone, was part of a concerted Ukrainian effort to target Russian oil refineries with long-range drones.

World Central Kitchen has been operating in Ukraine for 3 years. Never to my knowledge Russia never targeted their Trucks. Carrying food in Gaza Isreal they hit three different WCK trucks with their logo painted on the top. Everyone is dead apparently. Will be a real problem for the US an President Biden.

Well Mike "Russian Operative" Johnson put pretty much impossible conditions on the release of Ukraine funding. He does not want to spend a dime from the US instead take from the 300 billion in Russian assets. Seems easy enough but that has to go trough England an Europe for approval and this also creates issues that this money should be slated to got Ukraine rebuilding and a lot of Europe has worried that this money should go also towards European defense contractors.

Belgium wants that at least interest rate from freezed assets will be used for Ukr and this regardless what stuff U.K or U.S will tell about this idea...
Luxembourg if will get into angry mode, might even confiscate assets even if EU will beg not to do this.. they does have too much papers ....and it was financial services hub 30+ years in row...

Actually Ukrainian situation and perspectives for this month are very bad.
Obviously lack of air defense missiles is on the table as reality: during last 24 hours Russia managed to do 43 attacks by using airplanes..........

Situation with shells: Europe will not be kurds No2 - Noxx....and in no case will deplete their stockpiles. In no case...they are increasing stockpiles and will continue this process.

While they really had allocated additional 1,8 b EUR for shells etc for Ukr.
So when they will get these, they will send them to Ukr....
When? God Knows better.

I really really hope that all that talks about Ukr not getting any more or limited ammo is a smokescreen and the borders are being heavily reinforced as we speak.

It should be well clear by now that Ukr will not mount any more serious offensives, no human power no tech power either. And if Rus scores a breakthrough at some point, that's only on Ukr and dumb West.

Ammo and SAM missiles shortage is real thing and sorry, in europe U.S is looked that they are cocky liars dreaming to turn EU into Kurdistan No2 via empty promises by using laughable lies 24/7/365.
Meat Ukr looks that still does have, they just recently agreed to cut mobo age limit till 25 + y.o units of meat ( ants ).
While there ofc is one reason that at least for fortifications building alone ....ants and specialists are essential stuff.
While mobo for meat still will need ammo....and weapons... otherwise it is.. slaugterhause cinema...

NATO sick an tired of Trumpian BS through congress are pretty much telling the US you're not a reliable partner and we will take over now.

The White House on Wednesday pushed back on a proposal to move the U.S.-led group coordinating weapons delivery for Ukraine under the leadership of NATO.

John Kirby, White House national security communications adviser, raised doubts about having the U.S. step aside from leading the Ramstein Group, a once-a-month meeting of 50-plus nations coordinating weapons deliveries for Ukraine.

“It is bigger than NATO, it’s 50 some-odd nations all around the world, including in the Indo-Pacific — and what brought them together was American leadership,” Kirby said in a Wednesday call with reporters.

“What’s keeping them together is American leadership.”

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg has proposed the alliance consider leading the Ramstein grouping, viewed as an effort to protect against increased U.S. partisanship over aid for Ukraine. Europe also fears that former President Trump may withdraw support for Kyiv and NATO if successful in securing a second term as president.

“Ukrainians, they need more support, but they also need more predictable and long term support,” Stoltenberg said at a Wednesday press conference.

Foreign ministers of NATO countries are discussing the proposals in Brussels this week, with the goal of reaching consensus in time for a Washington summit in July marking NATO’s 75th anniversary.

Kirby described the discussions as “preliminary” but underscored the benefit of having the U.S. at the helm of the Ramstein group.

"

NATO: Oh America you're in danger of a war with China not our problem.
