More Russian progress on the ISW map yesterday and the day before than I've seen in months. The stalemate might finally be letting up. The progress does not seem to be in Avdivkka though.

Avdiivka stuff is that Russia had again increased number of troops and technique they are using and also seriously increased drones usage ....
Basically it is minefield in industrial scale and with nasty pincers .....

Slovakia will not provide military or financial assistance to Ukraine while they told that will not veto collective aid and will not veto accession talks process beginning.
We might judge Slovakia as we want but this is country who helped Ukraine to survive since March 2022 th...they gave a lot for such small country and also were first foreign country who had supplied Ukr long range SAM system and announced this only after system had been already delivered in Ukr...
They had supplied Ukraine fuel, more than 3000000cartridges, SAM system, missiles, 13 fighter jets ( these yup we're old MiG and still ).

Denmark will provide Ukr ~1b EUR worth military aid package and they told that after this Ukr will definitely get some next package too....

While about possible warrant ( guarantee ) for next loans issued to ukr they will make decisions in January 2024 th not earlier.

BTW I think that Zelensky administration is responsible for fu*** relationships with Slovakia.
Even if about canceled aid package: Slovakia had valued this batch with generous discounts ....very generous discounts.
If they doesn't have money but might quickly send 4 000 000 cartridges for really cheap price .... Why Zelensky didn't had offered to pay low price like approx 0,1 EUR for 1 cartridge?

He had the Minsk agreement to get Donbass back, he had the March 2022 agreement to keep Kherson, Zaporizhie, but he chose to wage war to get his ratings up, now Ukraine is in shambles and they will lose way more territory.

Yeah this is what I've advised people, not to rely on videos, which can be selectively edited, or pictures, the same, but to look at the maps. Ukraine has been fighting a stout defense and the map shows that. The Ukranian counterattack also petered out on the map due to the Russians' stout defense- this is starting to seem like a WW1 level slog.

Georgia maybe yet no because they had elected pro Russia oriented parliament, however yeah, they are scheduled by Russia to subjugate them sooner or later.
They are not annexed today only because Russian companies might use Georgia to avoid sanctions.......
I.e register businesses etc and to use them for paralel import ...

About arms I'm not so sure: Germany had produced a lot of ammo during Cold War and also refuses to sign re export permits for cluster ammo they had sold decades ago.
Most likely reported ammo stockpiled are only relatively " fresh " ammo....not all actual stuff.

While ofc ground forces they had degraded seriously.....

They had approx 3000 tanks in the end of Cold War and this means that they should have at least 3 m ammo units for tanks guns somewhere in basements.

While now they sadly looks that had to spent approx 1 year in order to get how much tanks in working condition they now does have . To clear spiders nets in basements....sad reality.

Germany does have huge production capacity, again sadly their weapons manufacturing and design industry had survived only cos foreign sales deals...

They does have normal navy and at least usable air forces, while ground forces were underfunded 30 years in row.....

Ground forces in germany are catastrophy mostly. Acne riddled, scrawny teenagers talking shit and playing Ego-Shooters while drowning cheap beers.
