Nice to see that the archers are in action.
Goddamn, i can imagine the job of fpv drone operator comes with some PTSD
Just the low cost and insane effectiveness of these drones means they're going to play a huge part in any future war...
Unless someone comes up with a very effective solution to them.
Which begs the question why we're seeing so little of these in Gaza.
They were beeing used in the initial attack on october 7th, but very little.since then.
When it comes to innovating warfare the IDF is pretty much top notch, so have they found a solution?
Short range jammers unlike mangals on roofs of tanks are relatively ineffective. While overall even simple jamming guns are effective vs civilian grade stuff.FPV drones are very effective in wide open areas lacking electronic warfare coverage. Israeli ground units are fighting in a much smaller area than Ukraine, allowing them to be protected by radio frequency jamming. Hamas drone controllers wouldn't even be able to fly their drones in this instance.
Just as they are cheap and effective, they are also relatively easy to counter. Already we're seeing Russian tanks mounted with short range jammers as self-protection.
Quite staggering losses for the raschists around Avdiivka. I still believe that they'll eventually take it by throwing more meat and metal at it.
