He's talking bullshit. For the same reason the Russian retreated from Kherson, geography affects Ukrainians equally. Trying to maintain your line of communication across a body of water is always more difficult. In Ukraine's case, made worse by having no existing bridge and having to utilized small boats. It has been several months since Ukraine landed on the south shore and they basically could not advance past that bridgehead. Russians are just bleeding them with artillery and air strikes.

At this point the bridgehead might be overrated until a further advance is doable. But Russians arn't bleeding them as the Russians are still in artillery range as well.

Sure. For example everyone might compare GDP NET per Capita in Belarus, Poland and Lithuania and in Ukraine and Russia and then ask WHY......such choice.
Simple and plain mathematic answer WHY.

I never said Nato is a 'bad thing.' I am just acknowledging why it exists.
 
Sadly for Ukraine 2 best versions of next POTUS for them will not happen. Obama and Pence. We might accuse Obama about all bullshit while he had cared about middle class and working class more than any previous POTUS and also had signed more mining and fracking permits than Trump and Biden administration.
He also had increased State Treasure debt lesser during 8 years of tenure than Donald during 4 years of tenure and there is mathematic proof with numbers instead of talks...,
Obama might be best choice for U.S as next POTUS. While their laws most likely prevents Obama to be re elected as POTUS.

There for Ukraine is risk cos they are eurozone country and member of IMF, WB, EBRD and IRBD.
If they next week will fill budget project No2 with 0 cent for Ukr and parliament will vote yes, then this quickly might turn into 3 Rd voting session and if this too will be done, then Ukr from them will get 0 warrant letters and 0 cent.
Ofc in big scene it might initially look like not important while in reality it might be big shit for long term.
