Armed with a 105mm smoothbore gun, the Leopard 1A5 DK offers precision and effective firepower. Its improved stabilization system allows for accurate firing even during movement, enhancing its combat effectiveness. The tank's protection is bolstered by composite armor and potential additional armor elements, providing resistance against modern anti-tank weapons.

Leopard 1 is not lesser obsolete than T 54/55.
While with better optics and it is shame that snails ( helixes ) didn't had provided Ukraine with these tanks in 2022 th.
They, like T-54/T-55 might be very effective as self propelled field artillery. Basically something like 4 inch field guns and NATO countries had produced shitload of ammo for these 105 mm guns ....incl specialized anti infantry ammo.
Also, despite old, they does have guns considerably more suitable to be used as mobile field gun rather than smoothbore 120 mm or 125 mm tanks guns.
Cos higher precision in long range and.....guys, it is long barrel high pressure rifled gun.....

Sadly looks that Ukraine had relocated too much force in Avdiivka and Bakhmut area and still isn't capable to attack pincers with sufficient forces so.....looks that counter offensive had failed.

Yep, like I said the only way to get Russia out of UKR is with their collapse which sadly won't be anytime soon. He is doing an ongoing conscription as well as flooding the battlefield with emptying the prisons for his meat charges. So the Russian army will always be in UKR no matter how sad the state of their army is, he will kill as many as his own people as it takes and public outcry will be minimal as putting stickers on grocery items can land you 7 years in jail.

Crimean bridge is very durable stuff.
ATCMS this version with 165 km range does have 560 kg warhead but it does have 950(?) submunitions, this means that they are something like hand grenades. For bridge these are like peace of cake.
Unitary warhead for ATCMS is much lighter and alone 1 will not make enough damage.
Neptune missile too does have too small warhead to induce enough serious damage with just few missiles.

Some stuff like several missiles with 480 kg and larger unitary warhead might do the job ....or bunch with naval drones.
While Russia is watching this area very carefully and preparing to repel such attacks.
