'hack?' What has @Strychnine said about that.
'Christ on a crumpet.' Oh, @Strychnine is not going to like that little remark. You don't know him very well, do you?
You just can't help it can you? Always having to insult or ridicule to try to make a point. Does it work or make you look stupid?
If we are talking about land grab from 18 months ago, let us go back to land grab from 2014 - Crimea.
So, you did not answer my question. Why so successful in the North and such a failure in the East?
What about last summer and fall? Why has it stopped? At this stage of the game Ukraine should have pushed Russian forces all the way back to Russia. What went wrong? Ukraine was doing so well, but now they are doing so poorly.

lmao.

Yeah they should have just wrapped up this conflict within a year like it's a season of Game of Thrones.

The story I was referring to. Milley never fails to disappoint and being wrong. He was actually a good officer in his younger days. The corruption in DC has destroyed the man. Of course, it is IBC Ukraine, so take it with a grain of salt.
. Ukraine already liberated over half of land captured by Russians, U.S. top general says (msn.com)
Since the beginning of the Russian full-scale invasion, Ukraine has already liberated more than half of the Russian-occupied territories, as U.S. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley says during a briefing after the Ramstein meeting. "Ukraine continues to achieve success. As of today, Ukraine has already liberated 54% of the occupied lands," Milley said.

So, let us see. The current occupied Russian part of Ukraine is roughly the size of the state of Ohio. So, Ukraine has taken back 50% of a land mass roughly 22,400 sq mi? That is way impressive. The map below shows twice that numbered under Russian control (red).

You can see all the current Ukrainian land mass taken back from Russia here - Eastern Front:
. Russian Offensive Campaign Assessment, September 19, 2023 | Institute for the Study of War (understandingwar.org)
Roughly 3 to 6 miles South and East in certain places. It does not amount to much. The price in casualties for Ukraine has been enormous.
I'll give credit for Ukraine in the Northern campaign in the early stages of this conflict. Maybe Milley is referring to that. A nice spin to the story. Like 'Spin Marino.' Looks like San Marino and Mark Milley do have something in common. Something that happened 18 months ago. That was an amazing pushback of Russian troops - over a large area. Somehow it has not worked in the Eastern front. Russia is still making advances, but this part is not covered in the news. So, why was the Ukrainian Northern campaign so successful and the Eastern campaign such a failure?
Lmao how does time work? He's referring to the land taken and recovered since Feb 22, not 2014.

This doesnt sound too good if i understood news correctly, lets see if some sort of clarification comes up

https://www.thefirstnews.com/article/poland-stops-sending-weapons-to-ukraine-says-pm-41460

"Poland is no longer sending weapons to Ukraine, the Polish prime minister said on Wednesday.

The announcement came as Polish-Ukrainian relations come under strain owing to the extension of a ban by Warsaw on Ukrainian grain over concerns large quantities of it will hurt Polish farmers.

The spat, which has even resulted in the Ukrainian ambassador to Warsaw receiving an official summons to the Polish Foreign Ministry for a formal ticking off, has added grist to the generally warm relations between the two countries.

Speaking on private TV channel Polsat News, Mateusz Morawiecki said Poland was helping in the victory over the "Russian barbarian" but could not agree to any destablisation of the Polish market by Ukrainian grain imports.

"Of course we will maintain the transit of Ukrainian goods," he said. "Poland does not bear any costs due to that. On the contrary, it could be said that we earn from it."

Morawiecki also said Poland would certainly not risk Ukraine's security.

"Our (military supply - PAP) hub in Rzeszow, in agreement with the Americans and Nato, is fulfilling the same role the whole time as it has fulfilled and will fulfil," he said.

He said he regretted that Ukrainian oligarchs had "pushed their grain onto the Polish market" with no regard to the effects that had on Polish farmers, which he said had depressed prices and led the government to introduce price guarantees and ultimately ban Ukrainian grain imports.

Instead of sending weapons to Ukraine, Morawiecki said Poland was now "defending ourselves, with the most modern weapons."

"If you want to defend yourself, you have to have something to defend with," Morawiecki said. "We adhere to that principle, that is why we have placed increased orders."

Heres source tweet

Ran with always reliable google translate

"Ukraine is defending itself against the brutal Russian attack and I understand this situation, but as I said, we will protect our country. We are no longer transferring weapons to because we are now arming Poland"

At this stage in the game? Russia was supposed to roll Ukraine in a week, bro. The never ending attempts you pull at framing this as a Ukrainian failure, when the entire world thought Russia would Stone Cold Stunner them through the table before the music even stopped. Second best military in the world against a country right next door that they had already invaded years prior, and should have been ripe for the conquering. Oh golly, oh geez, I wonder what went wrong for Russia. I wonder why they are having such a hard time.
And elllllllllll-oh-L at "Ukraine was doing so well". Brosky, you literally never thought Ukraine was doing well lmao you've been continuously predicting they will fold "in 12 months". When Russia is on the offense, all you can do is harp about how Ukraine can't do much to stop it. When Ukraine is on the offense, all you can do is claim this is somehow the worst, most useless idea ever. Bit of a pattern here, methinks.

Why do you people laugh so much?
How do you explain the Northern offensive by Ukraine last year bright boy? Why was that so successful?
I think your little memory bank is not able to store information going back to 18 months ago.

Looks that Zelensky administration had achieved their real target.
Poland looks that will not sign their military aid package for october and Ukraine with Zelensky might piss off regardless what stuff Uzrula or Biden will tell.

Lmao how does time work? He's referring to the land taken and recovered since Feb 22, not 2014.
There it is again, another one laughing away like an idiot.
Milley is one issue. I'm referring to all land grab since 2014 - another issue.
See the difference in the numbers: 2014, 2022, 2023. Russian vs Ukraine.
Is it a hard concept? Can you walk and chew gum at the same time? Lmao. <45>

Oh, nice 'spin' Limbo. New name: Spin-o-Limbo. We can all spin together now. You, me, and Milley.
Not about Russia taking over Ukraine but about Ukraine pushing Russia out of Ukraine. You changed the subject.
Ah, there it is again, another one laughing away like an idiot. That makes it 3. You know what they say about people who laugh all the time right? 12 months from what date exactly? The pattern is simple. Russia was to be defeated 10 months ago. Ukraine was to be defeated 10 months ago. Neither one has happened.

We laugh because you're ridiculous.

The northern offensive was successful because the Russians were less prepared in the region. It was earlier in the conflict, little to no defensive prep took place, and prior to conscript mobilization. Ukraine also spent weeks baiting them with probing attacks around Kherson, when their major offensive was planned around Khariv. Conscripts were mobilized in response to the disaster that was unfolding.

I think your little brain is incapable of processing any information about this conflict in a reasonable matter. You're a budget version of Douglas MacGregor at this point. Completely mind rotten partisan. At least he's getting paid by the Russians, unlike you, who just spread their propaganda for free.

If Zelensky will be too cocky
....Poland with allies might deNazify Kiev and nor Israel or U.S or U.K or Japan or South Korea will have problems with Realpolitik.
Ukraine is idiotic like Russia.

Ukraine was to be defeated within a week lol. You just can't seem to process information in a way that doesn't lead to some sort of bothesides type fallacy.

Looks that then russia didn't had excepted possible large scale counter attacks and therefore didn't had installed all mines they had etc.

Ah, but the Ukrainians weren't well prepared in the North and still managed to push the Russians back in short time. Ukrainians are well prepared in the East and can't push the Russians back. Funny how that works. So, let me get this straight, when the Ukrainians are unprepared, they succeed and when they are prepared they fail? Interesting. I guess they will lose this conflict since they think they are so well prepared.

The Russians were unprepared you muppet. lmao.

Clearly the Ukrainians were prepared enough as they pulled off the most spectacular rout of a major army in modern times.

Even if they had anticipated the counter attack, there simple was not enough time to prepare such intricate defenses. You also can't install minefields in areas you're expecting to use for your own troops transit.

They were expecting an attack in the south, not from Khariv, and it cost them the majority of the equipment for their professional army. They weren't even prepared for the attacks in Kherson, let alone Khariv, as we now know.
