RUSSIA'S triumphant Victory Day parades are being cancelled across the country as sources suggest an embarrassing "tank shortage" is responsible for the last minute change.

Patriotic military parades are held each year on May 9 throughout Russia as a means of celebrating Russia's triumph over Nazi Germany in World War II."

Not enough tanks to put on a parade like last year.

@grimballer & @San Marino
What is your stance on your headhunters tactics?
Headhunters as in Russian troops cutting off Ukrainian heads and sticking them on a pike?
I don't have an issue with decapitations if it is done cleanly. No different than a bullet to the head.
Like the Japanese samurai beheading prisoners or the guillotine during the French revolution. These are fast, clean, kills.
Same for the sledgehammer killing. That is how some cattle was killed for meat here in the US not too long ago.
Not sure what the hype is all about.
We Americans burned and killed thousands of Japanese men, women and children during the devastating firebombing raid on Tokyo in 1945.

Remember "Jihadi John" (ISIS) who beheaded an American with a knife? That is a slow and painful way to go.
Some here may not remember the American prisoner killed in Iraq with acid - a slow painful death.
Dying from a napalm strike or any type of slow burn death would be a much worse fate.

I'm not so sure Ukrainian soldiers are not doing some of their own crazy style of executions. It just does not get the publicity the Russians do.
We don't even know the exact numbers of Ukrainians killed in this conflict. Why is that a secret?
We do have video footage of Ukrainian civilians tying men and women naked to street poles for steeling food.
In that sense, Russians and Ukrainians are cut from the same cloth, but only Russian atrocities get the publicity.
Also, who is to say that Russians committed particular atrocities when in fact it was Ukrainian soldiers doing it to their own people and claiming it as Russian? The propaganda machine at work.

Not sure what the big deal, or hype, is all about.

So killing cattle with a sledgehammer = killing humans with a sledgehammer.
Yeah no difference at all.
There is so much wrong with that post I dont even know where to begin.
Good thing I am heading to a meeting now. Jeebus what a weird post.

Just saw a BBC article stating that the US has 15 special forces soldiers in Ukraine along with other NATO states.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t Biden need authorization from congress to send troops to Ukraine?
Yes. Depending on the time period.
Those are 'technically' retired volunteer SF soldiers - both American and British.

So killing cattle with a sledgehammer = killing humans with a sledgehammer. Yeah, no difference at all.
Indeed.
The taking of life is the same. Death either way. Did you think there was a difference because one is a human?
Is burning a human slowly to death a more humane way to go?

Who knew, you are a vegan.
No its not the same, are you really saying a school shooting with multiple killings are the same as killing a few pigs for food? Because "The taking of life is the same."
There is a huge fucking difference, and if you dont get that well... I dont know what to tell you.

I think his point is that this video isn't any different from the other prisoned that was gunned down a few months ago, in the end they are executing POWs which is shitty, but not outside the norm of normal Ruskie behavior.

The whole Ukranians do it too is BS however, one is defending their land the other is an invader.

Reread the post I replied to.

his popularity is only matched by kim jung un... that's amazing!

probably has nothing to do with him banning any opposition....

and even if we pretend those numbers are real, hows that good for ukraine that's getting destroyed for nato interests?

You're complaining about wartime emergency measures Ukraine had to take because of the actions of Russia. You're not very good at cause and effect, are you?

We've tried to explain it to you many times, but I guess your personality is just far too subservient for you to understand why Ukraine is fighting. Most people don't want to live under an incompetent dictator like Putin.

Eh war crimes are war crimes. Some of the pow executions have been quite disturbing. As some of them are clearly enjoying the suffering caused and purposefully drawing it out. Fuck those psycos especially.

I haven’t watched the videos, but something tells me it is not being done with a swift expert stroke of a Samurai sword..

Not that it really matters. Executing POWs is a war crime today. I also don’t know why you insist on bringing up stuff from the distant past as justification. By your logic crucifictions are ok because the Romans did it.

Eh. There's a lot of what ifs there. It's pretty easy to say fuck whoever did this. Regardless the " side "

It was literally sawed off with knife

I haven't watched the video either. Did not even know there was a video. Don't really care.
Distant past? U.S. Navy SEALs were executing innocent civilians in both Iraq and Afghanistan not too far back. Was it filed under 'classified' information? Yes.

War has never been a clean business.
I'm sure Ukrainian soldiers are doing their own version of 'torture' with Russian prisoners.
American troops were told to not take prisoners during the 'D' day invasion in France. Not place to put them and no way to feed them. Lots of German soldiers who surrendered were shot on site. The issue is really women and children in a combat zone. I don't really care about the men.

It was literally sawed off with knife.
Well, that is not good.
I'm sure Ukrainian soldiers will now be doing the same to some poor bastard Russian prisoner.
Will we hear about it? No.
