What is happening now is a complete stalemate where you are pretending that winning inches of ground amount to massive gains.

Not really, usually its a 1 day delay as there is cross-referencing things between Russian and Ukrainian sources (if Ukraine and Russian sources agree on something then usually its true).

Cool, but there would be no operational encirclement of thousands of Ukrainian troops, just urban warfare where after everything is leveled down with artillery and thousands of Russians lay dead then Ukraine will retreat to the next line of defense.

I said over 3 weeks ago that Wagner would still need 1-2 months to take Bakhmut and it would be through urban warfare attacking the city directly and that there would not operational encirclement of large amount of troops.

That's exactly what is happening Wagner stopped any attempt of an encirclement operation after its salient got destroyed by Ukrainians and are now trying to directly take the city via urban warfare.

Yes but they're kindly giving Ukrainian troops a chance to withdraw because they don't want to hurt them. Oh also the average life expectancy on the front for. Ukrainian soldier is 4 hours. They've already failed to capture this town, not a city, which is not even strategically relevant, for over 8 months. Nothing has changed. There's hundreds of other towns just like it between Bahkmut and Kyiv waiting for Russia to take after that are being fortified even more significantly every hour this continues.

The only reason they're forced to commit here is because their capacity for maneuver warfare has been so completely degraded they can only operate within a few km of their supply lines. They can only proceed in a directly linear fashion, one inch at a time, or their supply lines and depots get bombed to shit as they overextend.

This isn't even fucking true. You've said this before and I corrected you. Bahkmut is situated in a lowland valley, on the other side are hills steeper than on the eastern side of it, which took the Russians 8 months to get over.

This isn't western propaganda. This is basic geography and topography, lmao. It is not open fields passed Bakhmut. The terrain favors the defender even more.
