If by "left wing" you mean communists, then no, these people aren't supporting Ukraine, they are 100% pro-Russians, one of the reasons why super right wing Poland is anti-Russia is because they are anti-communist.

If by "left wing" you mean liberals, then yes, liberals will be anti-colonialist and pro-Democracy, so it makes perfect sense to support a democracy like Ukraine against a colonialist invader ruled by an autocrat.

But no encirclement of troops and Bakhmut is still a meat grinder or urban warfare that will still take a few more weeks or even months to end, so you were wrong when you claimed Russia encircled Bakhmut a few weeks ago and then you were wrong when you said that Russian encirclement was 2 weeks away.

If Azom fell yesterday like you claimed then it would be an UKR rout but so far its not true.

If someone considers the Democrats "their leadership" they are not on the left. Heck most of the house voted to "condem the evils of socialism" and like what 50 voted no? Not even the "evils of communism" the evils of "socialism and socialist policies in all it's forms". But yes AOC and the squad supported Ukraine. Their supporters are not thrilled. But their supporters don't have a platform at least not one non leftists visit.

You won't hear a leftist perspective in the MSM.

They've already failed to capture this town, not a city, which is not even strategically relevant, for over 8 months. Nothing has changed. There's hundreds of other towns just like it between Bahkmut and Kyiv waiting for Russia to take after that are being fortified even more significantly every hour this continues.

The only reason they're forced to commit here is because their capacity for maneuver warfare has been so completely degraded they can only operate within a few km of their supply lines. They can only proceed in a directly linear fashion, one inch at a time, or their supply lines and depots get bombed to shit as they overextend.
